They def work however my cats dont like the treats by themselves. I had to smash em up and put them in their wet food otherwise they wouldnt eat them. I switched to the powder version of this product so theres one less step

My vet recommended these for a "highly anxious" cat. I was dubious because I've tried calming treats for him that he would barely sniff. He LOVED these. So evidently the taste worked for him. LOL I know these things are different for different pets, so I'll just share my guy's experience and describe the product. These treats have a strong odor -- but not unpleasant -- when opening the bag. He's a small cat and these treats are softer than dry food but not mushy and about half an inch large, so I break the treat into a few pieces he gobbles right down. The bag is a thick coated plastic outside and metallic inside with a zip seal, so they stay fresh. My other two cats also like these, and none of them have had any side effects at all (but I only give them when my anxious guy needs them, when he's acting aggressive toward the others). What's hilarious is that he doesn't get loopy or sleepy, but every time he has them he gets the zoomies for about 20 minutes, then falls asleep. After that, he is definitely calmer. No idea if the zoomies are a coincidence, but I've definitely noticed this trend. My other cats who have had these treats have not had that effect. If it's these treats doing it, t's so funny, I kind of wish they did. I'd call it a quality product and I definitely recommend. No guarantee that it would give anyone else the zoomies. My guy is just weird.

I bought this for my two cats. One being 5 years old, the other 6 months old. It does work to calm them down. But they don't like the taste, and I cannot blame them. The smell is really awful. When I first smelled it, I had to set it down and leave the room. I held my breath when handling it thereafter. Not to say the smell permeates. It won't stink up a whole room but you will smell it when getting close. Its not easy to administer as I've had to crush the treat basically into a powder and mix it into a separate, purèe-style treat in order to get them to eat it. The texture is comparable to a grainy Starburst. If you have picky cats, I'd recommend against this particular product. But if your cats aren't selective about what they eat then this will most likely work to calm them down. And it does work very well! I will probably buy this again but only along with another treat that I know my cats will find irresistible so I can mix it together.

I have 4 cats, and only one of them eats it without any issues. The other three absolutely refuse it, no matter how I try to give it to them. However, for the one cat that does take it, the results are impressive! You can see a significant difference—it's working great for him. I just wish it was easier to administer to all of them.

This stuff is fast-acting. After only one day on the supplement, the changes were super noticeable for both of my cats. They've been going through a slow introduction process and one cat is very aggressive towards the other (she's actually really aggressive towards humans as well and I have the scars and bite marks to prove it lol). We took the aggressive one to get nail caps put on her for safety reasons at the vet, and we asked the vet staff if there was any long-term medical solution for aggression in cats. They pointed us to this supplement. I figured "why not give it a try?" Both cats are waaaay more calm with the supplement. It doesn't fix everything, but I'm glad it seems to take the edge off for them during this stressful time. We also have a multi-cat Feliway diffuser, which they *seem* to like, but it's really hard to tell. With this supplement, the effects were not subtle, and I can see clear improvement.

My 12 YO cat used to LOVE Composure treats, and benefitted from the calming ingredients. He happily ate most of the flavors from the time he was 1 to a few years ago. And then he didn't eat them, wouldn't touch them except on a rare occasion. I know I am not the only one with this issue. I don't know what changed in the formula, but this is disappointing because other calming treats seem to act like a more short-acting "drug" vs. delivering a longer-lasting sense of wellbeing. What a bummer.

I purchased this for two cats with different situations. The first was for moving my Maine Coon who came from a rescue situation and is anxious. This worked within an hour to lower stress and anxiety. My Maine Coon would not eat it as treat so we crushed and put in his favorite wet food. We also used this to calm a feral cat that was in need of medical treatment. Took us 2 weeks to catch him but this treat was the turning point.
