Lumintrail 12mm (1/2 inch) Heavy-Duty Security Cable, Vinyl Coated Braided Steel with Sealed Looped Ends (4', 7', 10', 15' or 30') (7-FT)

These were phenomenal for securing a large item to a fence. Unless someone has the jaws of life, no one is getting through these chains. They are so thick that I don't know if I would recommend them as a bike chain, unless you are ok with carrying them in a basket or backpack. However, noone is ever cutting through them if you do! So strong too! They are also weather resistant. They seem to be holding up fine under rain so far, as they are fully plastic coated. Be careful snipping the zip ties off, as their ends were sharp. Very well made!

This is real sturdy. Nice thick vinyl on it to keep it protected for years. I love it. I'm actually going to get a smaller one because I got the 10 footer and I need a 4-footer so I'm going to get another one.

Seems to be very heavy duty. I would test it out with bolt cutters and or cut off tool or an angle grinder to see how tough they acually are. But then I would have to buy another so...

Arrived on time. It is average value for what people would pay in a normal store. This is a very thick cable with a plastic coating on it. For fit, I chose the 7 foot long option. It was perfect for looping around my portable generator and the handle of my 2 gallon fuel can. That was a good fit length. This does not include a lock, so there is no key. The ends with the cable crimps are thick and have a plastic cover. So, it might not fit through everything.

I bought the security cable to lock down my spare tire that I carry in my truck bed. Works well.

I used this security cable to lock my paddleboards and bike together as a bit of a theft deterrent. It’s the perfect, long lets and easy to use. The cable itself is nice and thick and durable, so I think any potential thieves would struggle with cutting it quickly. Definitely functions the way it should, I’m happy with my purchase compared to some other, more expensive brands.

Its actually very nice, seems very sturdy and well built too. Only thing I'd say is make sure to buy the six foot, the four is a little short for bikes.
