BENEBONE - The very best dog chews I have ever bought. My dogs are literally obsessed with every one of these chew bones. Such good value for money as each one lasts for a very long time. Four flavours to choose from , or ll four in a box. The most helpful company I have ever dealt with. I bought the large size for my aggressive chewer - Minature Poodle - as his last one had finally been annihilated after months of continual chewing! Wasn’t sure what size to buy for my normal size Chihuahua so I contacted Benebone who were so helpful and even sent me a box of the small size as a gift. I now have two very happy dogs and cannot recommend these bones enough. Highly recommended. I have never been asked to post a review by this company and have done so of my own volition, simply because of the pleasure these bones give my dogs.

These toys are technically “bones,” but Lucky (my 11-week-old puppy) treats them more like enemies that must be defeated in loud, bouncing combat. The pack includes four solid chew toys in bacon, maplewood, and jack salmon flavours – all made with 100% real flavour, which sounds fancy, but Lucky isn’t here to savour… he’s here to wrestle. Design-wise, they’re great: chunky, textured, and easy for small puppy paws to grip and fling. They’re made from a tough, durable material that feels like it could survive the apocalypse. Lucky’s been testing the “indestructible” claim daily with his tiny shark teeth, and so far, not even a scratch. Safety-wise, I feel confident giving these to him – no small bits, no weird rubber smells, and nothing that looks like it could snap off. They’re solid through and through, and despite the chaos he brings to the table (or the floor), I’ve never worried about them breaking apart. Speaking of floors… forget gentle chewing. Lucky throws them off his bed just to hear the dramatic CLONK when they hit the hardwood floor. Then he leaps down after them like he’s chasing a burglar. There’s barking, bouncing, pouncing, and the occasional suspicious side-eye at the bone like it started it. These aren’t just toys – they’re co-stars in his personal action movie. Noise level? Oh, you’ll hear it. Especially if you have hardwood floors. Think: “puppy vs rock-hard chew toy – live performance.” But honestly, I don’t mind. These bones keep him fully occupied for 20–30 minutes at a time, which in puppy-parent terms is basically a national holiday. He usually tires himself out and ends up passed out mid-chew, like a tiny, furry gladiator. Functionally, they do exactly what a dog toy should: they survive wild play and keep him engaged. They’ve gone flying under the sofa, under the crate (cue immediate panic-barking – “Mum, it’s GONE FOREVER”), and into every corner of the house. The fact that he actually cares when he loses one tells you everything. These are his favourite toys and he loves them. And just to be clear – I think these are definitely not cat toys. If you handed one to a cat, it would either walk away offended or start plotting revenge. These feel more like heavy-duty, dog-approved, drama-inducing chew champions. Final verdict: sturdy, safe, noisy (if you dog throws it but not noisy when chewing), and full of flavour (apparently). Lucky is obsessed, and I’m enjoying the peace and quiet after he’s done battling them.

I bought this box for my son's birthday. For a human child, this would doubtlessly be quite disappointing, however for my fur-son, our mini dachshund, Walter, this is arguably one of the best things we've bought him. We fly through Nylabones like there's no tomorrow - in two weeks we got through three extreme chewers, presumably designed for the jaws of something far larger and more powerful than our pup. But this boy has some staying power when it comes to chewing, particularly as it soothes and calms him about as much as incessantly licking my hand does. We had been meaning to try Benebone for months, but could never find it in our local pet store. So I caved when his birthday came around and bought a whole box of them. I don't know yet if these will last months longer than Nylabone, though we are four days past his birthday and still only on "fish bone" so the stats look promising! Debating whether maple wood flavour is actually like crack for dogs, because he rarely stands by his toy basket and cries, but he does now he can smell the rest of the box in there. Daily we find him on his hind legs sniffing them out. At night, he tends to abandon chewing for sofa cuddles and a snooze before bed. Now he abandons us for the fish and tried his luck at the basket one more time. Yes, bits come off, find me a chew that he doesn't pull bits from, and I'm not always thrilled about it, but they're not big bits, and not as dangerous as the balls that he has the squeaker out of in minutes. He's sleeping with "fish bone" right now. He's obsessed and we are delighted. There's even two parts currently unchewed, so crossing fingers we make it to a whole week week! Update: Just a quick update to my previous review (below) to note a few things after replacing the chews in 2023. They are fairly robust, however, I noticed that once my dog started to get them to ‘fray’, they quickly became sharp (they’re pretty painful if, like my dog, they leave them in odd places or try and chew them in your lap)! He could also chew off pieces once he’d started ‘getting into’ them. I’m not sure if this is harmful for dogs to eat so just replaced them. They did last a reasonable amount of time but the cost makes replacing them a little daunting if money’s tight! They lasted a few month before he had worn them down so still longer than other chews, however, I’m not sure I can keep replacing them. 2022 review: My Jackapoo puppy shreds everything! I needed something to keep him entertained, which didn’t need such constant monitoring that I couldn’t get anything done! Of course, dogs need to be checked when chewing anything but he’s such a power-chewer already, I felt I couldn’t leave him at all due to him tearing through his toys. These chews are on the expensive side in my opinion, however if they last, it will be worth it compared to buying cheaper things over and over again. I’ll update this review regarding durability if there’s anything to add further down the line. They’re quite large (I purchased the small size), which was a surprise but the perfect size for my pup so I’m very pleased. So far, in 3 days he’s only managed to make marks in the fish tail. Everything else looks perfect, despite a LOT of chewing. Happy so far and I’m sure they do smell like the descriptions to a dog’s sensitive nose, but not to a human’s.

I’ve bought several fish benebones. They last really well, my springer destroys most things or eats through them so quickly. But these are durable and she loves them, because they take so long to eat I know theyre safe as nothing breaks off. And you can easily see when they become a choking risk. Saw the box and knew they were good value. I love the variety of shapes, which keeps her busy. the different flavours are a great idea.

Dogs love them keeps them entertained.

Fabulous I keep an eye on them when they are being chewed and for wear and tear so they are all replaced regularly to keep the dogs safe like any thing that dogs chew but my dogs love them and keeps them happy for a few minutes when they have the urge to chew .

Best toy they have had it for almost a year now and they still use them everyday and they have only gone through one of the four stick will definitely be buying more when they need them, highly recommend

Quando cerchi qualcosa che sopravviva a una bassethound con la vocazione da demolitrice professionista, smetti di comprare giocattoli a caso e inizi a fare una valutazione seria dei materiali. Il 4-pack Benebone è arrivato in casa come un banco di prova completo: quattro forme, due gusti (salmone per il Fishbone, bacon per gli altri), un solo verdetto da dare. Ho iniziato subito dal Fishbone, gusto salmone, alternandolo con un secondo osso per confronto diretto. La reazione all'apertura ha detto già tutto: annusato con intensità da spettrometro (e i basset, con quel muso, non mentono mai), poi aggredito con metodo. Dopo un giorno di sessioni alternate: segni dei denti visibili, nessun pezzo staccato, zero briciole in giro, pavimento pulito. Per chi, come me, lavora in ambito sicurezza e sa cosa vuol dire valutare il rischio di ingestione di corpi estranei, è il dato che conta più di tutto. Il nylon Benebone non è nylon qualsiasi. Ha una cedevolezza superficiale voluta: cede abbastanza da soddisfare il cane e lasciare l'impronta del morso, ma non si scheggia come certi materiali plasticosi di seconda scelta che ho visto in giro. La forma curva, sia del Fishbone che del Wishbone, non è un vezzo estetico: serve da leva per appoggiare lo zampa e rosicchiare lateralmente, proprio come si farebbe con un osso vero. Chi ha progettato queste sagome ci ha pensato sul serio. Qualche nota pratica sul 4-pack: Il Fishbone (salmone) è stata la preferita fin dal primo minuto: il profumo atira subito, ma per noi umani nell'aria non si sente nulla. Ottima cosa in appartamento. Il Wishbone e lo Stick (bacon) sono da testare ancora, ma la struttura a rami multipli del Wishbone promette bene come superficie di masticazione. Lo Zaggler è la forma più massiccia e compatta: destinata probabilmente ai momenti di masticazione più intensa, da valutare nel tempo (col senno di poi è quello che piace di meno!). Un avviso onesto: le estremità si affilano un pó con l'usura. Niente di pericoloso per il cane, ma un Fishbone consumato sul parquet di notte fa gli stessi effetti di un mattoncino Lego. Da tenere a mente quando si decide dove lasciarlo in giro. Consigliato senza riserve per cani medio-grandi con tendenza distruttiva, e il formato pack è la scelta giusta: si alternano le forme, si mantiene l'interesse alto, e il rapporto qualità/prezzo rispetto all'acquisto singolo è decisamente migliore.

Purchased this value pack at a very good price. In hindsight, I may have been a bit premature in expecting these to work for my 4-month-old German Shepherd Dog puppy. He didn’t take much interest, likely because he’s still too young. The value is excellent, though, and I’m hoping he’ll enjoy them more as he grows.
