These hooks worked perfectly for my knife holster. Unfortunately, the knife I purchased came with a holster and not a clip. So I bought these, and sure enough, they worked perfectly for my holster. The knife holster goes IWB and the main clip goes over the edge of your jeans between the jeans and your belt. The under hook then catches on the bottom of the belt which allows you draw your knife without drawing the entire holster out with the knife. Installation was easy as pie and and I'm very happy with these clips. I will definitely do business with this company in the future! I used it on couple of Remora holsters. One was for an M&P 9C but discontinued using it and replaced it with a kydex IWB. One of the reasons was the nut inside the holster was marking up the slide though the main reason I replaced it was because I wanted a more secure holster. I know these clips weren't made for these type holsters but it did work well for that application. The second clip was installed on a Remora mag holster which is used to carry my EDC flashlight and knife as I hate carrying/clipping stuff in my pockets. The clip works great for that purpose. Only recommendation I have is to add a second hole to provide more flexible installation. I drilled a second hole lower on the clip for a better fit on my belt. No problems with the clip or hardware since. Great product.

They'll work. But, on multiple holsters and sheaths/scabbards, required modifications.

I bought these for a holster that I was making for my daughter. I only used one of the clips and needed to modify it slightly to make it work for this design. The material the clip is made of seems to be very tough. This is a well designed, quality product at a reasonable price. I have a great deal of respect for small family businesses that realize the importance of customer satisfaction. Keep up the good work, and thank you!

Worked excellent for what I needed. I bought to be used with a Kydex holster for my M-Tech knife. It now works as a perfect concealed IWB knife at the small of my back, this J hook fits perfectly around my belt and keeps it in place even when riding my bike. So glad.

The product does what it is advertised to do. I attached one to a single strap IWB holster to make the second strap. I am going to remove the original leather strap and attach another one of these as the replacement. When properly placed on my belt, my shirt is tucked in and you have to look hard to see the tips of theses fasteners to suspect anything is hidden. And, then again, you have to know what you are looking for. These J Clips are almost invisible. Nice product. I am pleased.
