Baby Poultry Chick Leg Bands Size 6 XLarge (100)

I hatched some BBS Ameraucana hatching eggs a few weeks ago from 3 unrelated breeding groups, so it was vital that I marked which breeding group each chick was from! I didn't order these bands until the chicks were a little over a week old (I used gel food coloring to mark them at hatch, which was a MESS!!!), and I put them on at 2 weeks old exactly. This size band was perfect! They're super stretchy, which made them really easy to put on. I could easily put three of my own fingers inside the band to open it wide, and it easily fit over their feet. The bands were big on the 2 week old LF Ameraucana chicks, but not so big that they fell off, and they're still comfortably wearing the same bands now 8 days later. I anticipate that when it's time to remove them and put on a larger band I won't have any issues due to how stretchy they are! I am really happy with these, and would definitely recommend as a VERY easy way to mark LF chicks from around 2 weeks old!

So easy to put on our birds. We love to identify our birds, and have struggled in the past with other bands. These slip on the birds so easily, and do not fall off.

XL is perfect to identify ducklings from wks 1 to ~3 probably. Pics are of 8 day old ducklings. You can see they’re loose but small enough to stay on & hopefully get a few more wks out of this size

Perfect for marking chicks just make sure you check sizing!they don't bite into the skin!

Worked as expected but I put these on my 6 week old Svarthona chick and they are almost too small. Had to remove them at about 10 weeks, although since they are soft there is no risk of skin damage.

Get these for chicks and older chickens up to 3 months of age.

The leg bands were nice but I had a hard time deciding on size and then once I got one on the chicks, they didn’t like it and kept pecking at them so I had to take them off. Not every chick is created equal so this may work for yours!
