Worth the wait...so far
Today, I finally unboxed my 4 Nicole soap molds I bought about 3 weeks ago. I received them about 5 days ago. Upon inspection they are fantastic. That is the reason for my 5 star rating. They seem to be well made with dove tailed ends and on the smaller 1 pound loaf mold it has 1 hole in the bottom to help extract the insert after the soap has hardened. The liner is really nice. It is thick but flimsy enough to be able to peel back from the soap. The top is a sliding top which is nice to help preserve heat but protect from anything that might be flying around in the house. But if you're a soap maker you know you should completely cover that box with lots of towels to allow it to slowly cool to prevent cracks from forming in the top of the soap.Aaaaand back to the molds...The wait is worth it...The packages have to go through customs but they're packaged well and they have some super strong tape. This afternoon I plan to make several batches of soap and will update on the quality, soap removal and how well the boxes held up against being moved around and the batch holding up to being poured in the molds.**UPDATE** 3 days later...The molds are fabulous. They did very well and the crisp edges to the soap are what I was looking for. Just know...if you have a super thick soap base you will need to tamp the molds down on a sturdy hard surface to help release air bubbles. I did it still with my thinner soap base and I didnt have issues.

Great size mold for small batches of soap.
I love everything about this mold and liner set. I wish I could purchase additional silicon liners because the quality is so much better than from other companies.

Awesome quality molds
This soap mold is great and I was able to cut my soap into two loaves which rendered a total of 18 - 1” bars of soap. It’s very sturdy and I love that it comes with the box and lid for cover. However, it would make cleanup a tad bit easier if the lid was one that you put on from the top instead of sliding on from the side. The grooves that the lid slide into oftentimes get soap in it and that adds an extra step to the cleanup process. Nevertheless, I have purchased two of these slab molds along with a loaf mold from Nicole and will probably order more in the future. Thanks Nicole for making great quality merchandise.

Great for test batches.
Finally tried this mold after about 2 1/2 years. It makes the cutest little loaves of soap. Perfect for my experiment batches. My recipe was about 25 oz, just enough to do a little bit of a textured top and still have enough room to slide the lid closed. It made 6- 1 inch bars of soap. I sanded it a bit because there were some small splinters. Not as sturdy as some of my more expensive molds but it works just fine. May buy a couple more!

It's okay
So I probably should've read the description for the small mold better, although i think the description isn't entirely accurate either. I assumed this was a standard sized 2 pound loaf mold, and the seller lists it as a 32oz mold, but plugging the provided dimensions into soapcalc, it holds 27.5 oz, which is a sizeable difference. Not the end of the world, but something to be aware of.I like the concept of the sliding lid. I figured it would make it easier to gel my soap. In practice, I wasn't as impressed and maybe should've gone with one of the mass produced loaves you simply place the lid on top of.My first time using it, I plugged 32oz in, and overpoured a bit on accident while designing at medium/thick trace. I have arthritis and my hands tend to shake, and for that reason alone, maybe I should've reconsidered the design choice with my personal limitations. Soap got stuck in the crack, and since I was doing a spoon plop and my soap was already in the mold, it was difficult to clean while finishing my design without ruining it. I managed to get enough soap out to slid the lid on, and while doing so, noticed splinters falling in my soap. For this reason alone, I'll never do another textured top with this mold and will probably try and underpour by an ounce or so, if I use it again.I will say, I'm relatively new to using a loaf mold, it's possible my issues are user error. Usually I use my 16oz bakers mold, individual cavities, or 32oz cream cartons. Maybe it's an issue that I'm just not familiar enough with, but yeah... this mold is very splintery, for lack of a better word. Half of the bottom on the inside looks unfinished, while the other side has glue. EIts even more splintery than my other mold. From the start, I had trouble getting the lid into the track, because the lid was "frayed," and it hasn't gotten much better over the 3 batches I've made. While the price was comparable to similar sized molds, the seller seems to specialize more in soapy stuff, so I expected a bit more.I will say, the holes on the bottom are an excellent design choice for unmolding. The liner is transparent and relatively thick, and definitely better quality than the flimsy purple or pink ones I've seen. Because of the unusual size, I made my own divider super easily with the Amazon box this arrived in, and barely had to cut it.It's not a bad mold perse, I'm just not sure it's the best choice for someone like me, who is unaccustomed to wooden molds, and has shaky hands that almost guarantee I'll spill soap between the liner and mold, or in the lid's track.

Works well, only holds about 60 ounces of soap
When I purchased, I read all the reviews and questions/answers. The owner stated in an answer that it holds about 6 lbs of soap. I used for first time, made 96 ounces (6 lbs) and ended up using another mold to hold the overflow. This mold (9.3in x 6.2in x 2.6 in or 23.7cmx15.9cmx6.6cm) will only hold 60 ounces, the other mold held the remaining 36 ounces. That being said, I will adjust my recipe in the future. The mold itself is OK - the box is a little thin and could use a lite sanding, the liner is thicker than I thought and worked nicely! I do use sodium lactate so the unmolding was easy. The holds in bottom of mold made it easy to get the liner out and the liner was easy to get soap out. I would recommend but hope the description gets changed to reflect actual amount of soap that this can hold.

excellent slab mold!
This is so worth the price! The very thick liner pops out easily. It was so easy to unmold my soap and the box design with the lid will help insulate it for a slightly faster process. Very sturdy and so nice! I looks like it will last a long time. I already ordered a second one.
