Lite Brite Classic, Favorite Retro Toy - Create Art with Light, STEM, Educational Learning, Holiday, Birthday, Gift, Boys, Kid, Toddler, Girls Age 4+

I picked up this Lite-Brite Classic for our toy drive, and I really liked being able to donate something that I remember from when I was younger. With so many electronic toys available now, there's something nice about seeing a classic like Lite-Brite still around for another generation of kids. It's more than just a toy. Kids can use the colorful pegs to create pictures, experiment with different designs, and use their imagination, then watch everything light up when they're finished. It gives them something creative and hands-on to do. For a toy drive, I also try to choose gifts that a child can enjoy without needing a bunch of additional accessories or purchases. Lite-Brite is recognizable, fun, and something that can provide plenty of entertainment beyond Christmas morning. There's also a little nostalgia involved for me. I remember Lite-Brite from growing up, so being able to put one into the toy drive and hopefully give another kid some of those same memories made this purchase even better. Great toy, great memories, and most importantly, a great addition to the toy drive.

50 years later most toys I had as a kid are obsolete; however; our granddaughter loved this gift and plays with it every time she is at the house.

We've had this for several years and it's still well loved. Endless entertainment, perfect for traveling. Great for about 6 years old and up I would say.

As an '80s kid, I was so excited to relive my Lite-Brite memories... and then I opened the box. 😄 This isn't exactly the Lite-Brite many of us grew up with. Instead of sliding in paper templates and pushing the pegs through to reveal a glowing picture, this version is battery-powered and comes with picture guides that you recreate by placing the pegs yourself. It works, but it's definitely a different experience. One thing parents should know is that this design is a little more challenging for younger children. Since they have to constantly reference the guide while placing each peg, it requires more patience, focus, and back-and-forth than the original. Younger kids may need some help getting started, while older children will likely enjoy the challenge. Once I got past the nostalgia, I found it to be a fun, creative activity. The lights are bright, the pegs are colorful, and it's a nice screen-free toy that encourages creativity and fine motor skills. My child enjoyed making the designs, even if I couldn't help reminiscing about "the good old days." If you're buying this expecting the exact Lite-Brite you remember, you'll definitely notice the differences. But if you're looking for a modern take on a classic that still provides hours of creative fun, it's a solid choice.

My daughter absolutely loves this toy. And I love that she loves it because I loved it when I was a child.

Granddaughter is having so much fun with this. It seems to be good quality and brings back fun memories of the early 80s when I had my own!

Small, portable lite brite. I purchased this as a gift for my daughter to use for therapy on a broken finger. It was great for fine motor skills. Bright color and easily to use. I do need to order more of the pictures.

It's kid. The paper is a bit tough to push the legs through. I wish it came with storage for the pegs and templates. I guess we just leave it in the box? The light works fairly well but it can be tricky with the multiple modes, though props to the multiple modes. Overall for the price and experience, it's adequate. Definitely could be better.

Ürün yeterli ışık vermiyor. Keyifsiz. Oğlum sevmedi maalesef

This toy is a blast from the past. Light bright has been enjoyed for many decades. I found this toy when I was a kid and you had to put an incandescent bulb. It was quite a fire hazard. But now with LED tech, It's not only much more vibrant, It's a lot safer and much less power requirements. This toy takes three double A batteries. At the back it's just an on/off button. But rather than just turning on and off it toggles between different modes of illumination such as blinking glowing sparkling and just full on. Too bad it does not have an auto off function. On the back of the light bright is a kickstand to make it stand alone. This kid comes with only a few templates and pegs. You can buy more pegs and templates online. Most likely within a week you will have to. This is an outstanding toy. It doesn't break a bank. And offers many hours of fun for a creative child. I highly recommend this even as a gift.

Perfetto per una bimba di meno di 5 anni
