Excellent, readable book on public procurement
It’s rare to see a good book that is readable about public procurement. This book highlights differences between the three major types of procurements. Despite its relatively short length, the book provides a rich suite of examples of solicitation language and practices. While the laws, policies, and practices widely vary among states, municipalities, and higher and K-12 education entities, this book lands as close as one can get on well-regarded best practices. And suppliers will learn how their government customers view these sourcing events. This is an excellent book I only recently discovered.—Richard Pennington
