This is the only rice we buy for our annual Paella family dinner. It is so good. A full bag is what we use and the short grain nature is what Paella is all about. So tender, so absorptive, sooo goood! Won’t look anywhere else for Paella rice!

An excellent kilo bag of paella rice for a very fair price. I have purchased this many times to cook a large chicken and seafood paella for about two dozen guests at the place where we stay in Cape Cod. Everyone loves it, a party in a pan and a crowd-pleaser twice a year.

This is great paella rice. I’ve tried a lot of types and this is my favorite. It cooks up relatively quickly do be aware and keep that flame low or you will burn rather than get that lovely soccralat.

Delicious! Perfect for Paella

This rice was purchased for my first ever foray into cooking Paella. I am well satisfied with the results. The rice cooked just right in the Paella recipe I used. Not too soft or under-cooked was easy with this rice. Plus it made that caramelized bottom crust as desired. Worth the extra cost for making the best Paella. It came relatively fast, but not like the old days of Amazon prime when everything came in two-days. Those days were the best...and, to boot the cost of Prime back in the early days was actually a bargain which I'd say it is much less presently. Anyway, when the local markets did not have this particular type and grade of rice Amazon came through.

Perfect for paella!

For anyone who LOVES traditional Spanish paella, you can't go wrong with this rice. After spending 2 weeks in Mallorca last summer, my boyfriend and I became addicted to making Paella at home. Unfortunately "small grained rice" isn't something sold at any stores near us. We tried finding small grain rice at Stop & Shop, BJs, Shaw's, Target, Sabra, Costco, etc. and no luck. We ordered this rice on a whim and it's instantly become a recurring purchase for us. The size of the rice is super tiny (which is what you want) before adding liquid. Since it's "small grain", it helps lead to the perfect crispy yet moist texture you want from your rice when making paella.

I bought this rice twice already, and I'm very happy with the results. Cooked as it should, and gave my nice paellas to serve every time. Will definitely buy again.
