My house has 2 stories. I also have some tall trees. my 6 or 7 foot A frame ladder was limiting me and when I saw this model, I was interested. It doesn't seem to take a lot of place because it's collapsible, Aluminum sounds light, and it goes up to 16.5 feet... All positive. I saw 1 review where the ladder was folder like a broken toothpick. But I think it was more a "User Error" than an issue with the product. I ordered it, and it was as described... much heavier than I thought but it's heavy duty and tall. It made sense. I used it a few times and no issues. I felt safe. Easy to fold and store. It's a great buy. I recommend it.

Exactly what I wanted for functionality, sturdiness when extended, quality and operation of height adjusters, and effective anti-slip ends. Stores very easily.

Not something expected from the pictures but also not too surprising. But when leaning up against a wall it flexes towards the wall. My guess is this is due to how little of each piece is in the next and the play in the connection. Not a problem when on the ladder, but when getting off or on. When one extends the ladder beyond the top of the surface you’re climbing onto. You end up with the ladder bowing away from the wall from the pressure of your hands above the pivot. And then immediately toward the wall from the greater weight of your body below the pivot. Utterly terrifying if you ask me! Still 4/5 for me because this is exactly what I needed and even with the wobbles it’s a fantastic ladder

This ladder is so easy to use, it locks itself in place and has easy release buttons. It flexs which worried me at first but made it easier to prop against the wall on uneven ground. It is a little heavy because it's so compact but any average adult could move it easily. Instruction label is printed on the bottom set of legs. Easy to use and great quality metal. I have a feeling this will be a part of our household for a very long time.

This is a great ladder for an RV or home it is sturdy and easy to store.

The ladder is flimsy and doesn't always lock. I should have tossed it the first time it slipped from one side and almost knocked me off, but it is light and convenient so I didn't, and it was a mistake. I was using it to take the Christmas lights off my house the other day and it started wobbling as I was stepping down. I fell and broke my heel bone. Going to be a long few months of recovery for me. I take responsibility for not having someone hold the ladder, of course, but I'm positive this wouldn't have happened if this thing wasn't so flimsy. You get what you pay for. Don't be dumb like me. Buy something else.

such a gamer changer for RV use! easy to use inside AND outside the RV. have used it throughout the house as well. easy to breakdown and the connected strap secures the later and makes for easy transport. would highly recommend in all sorts of use.

I’m not a light guy, but I’m not ridiculous either, about 225lbs / 100 kg. The rungs on this broke around the seams on my 5th or 6th time using it inside a week. The joint or weld or connection between the individual rung and the side. I’m thinking, maybe the shock load of stepping on it with 1 foot while going up was past the advertised 400, but Christ that’s a thin margin. I kept using it because I needed it for a job, collapsed the rung into the lower one and duct taped it. It telescopes just fine, doesn’t bend in half and is only a “leaner”. Keep your fingers clear when closing it up, it comes down like an axe. Otherwise fine, it got the job done for me. Best start on a diet if you’re interested in this product.
