Reinforced Lace Up Ankle Brace for Men & Women, Sprained Ankle Support

First a little backstory. In 1964 I had a bad motorcycle accident but obviously I survived. With a lot of broken bones. One of the breaks was a compound fracture to the lower Tibia on my left leg. The Orthopedic surgeon who put me back together pulled off a miracle reassembling me. The damages to the left leg included the ankle. I was told since I'm young and strong I won't have any difficulties despite one leg now being longer than the other by 3/8" but look out when I get way older. Well he was right. Now at 77 and wearing orthotics as well for many years the ankle on my left foot has been giving me lots of grief for months now. For no apparent reason while either walking or standing the arch on that foot just collapses and flattens right out putting a lot of strain and pain on the ankle. This ankle brace is a Godsend. It keeps my ankle from rotating and causing the arch to collapse. Although it looks bulky I can still manage to get into my sneaker and winter boots with it on. With the brace on i can walk briskly without fear of the collapsing arch and subsequent ankle pain that was preventing me from doing a lot of activities.

I have bought many other types ankle braces over the years and this is by far the best one I've had. You can lace this lightweight brace up tight and the straps will keep it tight without chaffing while providing increased stability and support for lower and high ankle issues. I do not recommend it for Achilles issues because it fits so well it makes the sore or injured Achilles more uncomfortable.

I love it really good quality I don’t say good quality easy but this is good oneWhen I walk my foot steps on the outside of my foot not inside so this makes my foot turn inwards both of them even my shoes I can see it soI tied this ankle support make it all up I feel likeI am stepping on from the Thoes like the normal way from you know what I mean so now I am buying second one I am happy if you have any problems buy this product it does keep you’re ankle straight sometimes I hear my ankle clickBut the top when you tied up the top kind of hurts my feet the side of my feed I bought medium size shoes size 10 .5 I don’t like it when something is short goes up to my closet to my pinky toes yes there it feels weird and when it’s tied it hurts

Easy to use and provided need support. I ordered a medium. I had to play around with the lacing to find a comfort level at the front of the brace with the elastic band at the beginning. I was right on the edge of M-L. The large would have been too big.
