Smells like teen spirit
By way of background, I ride between 10,000 and 14,000 miles every year, mostly on tarmac, but occasionally on dirt and or gravel. I give my gear a very good workout, and I ride in all weather conditions that can be found in coastal Northern California, including the 'extreme' cold of our local mountain at 4300ft (low 20s F, on the coldest days). I've owned every major brand of clothing, back to the mid 80s, and used many different cycling specific products. I prefer Assos, period. Nothing else really compares. As to this particular Assos product: I'm allergic to a lot of stuff, including most detergents, which makes treating skin irritations a bit scary, as many (most) products will increase rather than decrease the problems I'm experiencing. I have no reaction to this, and it soothes irritations that would normally sideline me. I also use Assos Chamois Cream, which helps to prevent the issues in the first place. In fact, using the Assos wash on my Assos shorts, coupled with the Cream and the Gel has increased the amount of time I can spend on the bike. Assos takes skin comfort very seriously, and while they are expensive, I figure a comfortable crotch is worth the cost. Switching out any one component of this system decreases my comfort.People comment on how little there is in a tube, but it's much like an oil -- you need very little to cover a lot of skin. The smell is unusual, not unlike vinegar, but not unpleasant. It works, I like it, and I'm not allergic.UPDATE: Just recently I did a ride where I climbed 5000m in about 200km. I'm not fast so I spent 13 hours in the saddle. When I stopped, my undercarriage was rubbed raw -- I could hardly even walk. I put just a small amount of the Skin Repair Gel on and the irritated area was okay by the morning, and after a second application, it was *GONE* by the next morning. I'm increasing my rating to 5 stars.

Muy recomendable
Adiós a las rozaduras por andar en bici, hago recorridos de entre 45 a 80 millas el sábado y funciona perfectamente, me aplico la crema y listo para el día siguiente 👍

It WORKS. Plain and simple.
I’m an avid road cyclist fond of long distance rides. Also I ride pretty much every day.Consequently I do get saddle sores from time to time. For the past week or two one has just been hanging on, causing discomfort and yeah a bit of pain as well.Tried so many things and found this gel in a google search. Ordered it. Arrived yesterday afternoon. Took a shower, then applied.Today I rode with zero pain. Actually forgot all about it.One day. That’s how long it took to work.I’m a fan now.

Pricey and Works!
If I use this after a ride I don't get saddle sores and if a little sore from a day's ride, all has been better the next day. That's a winner for me!

ASSOC Skin Repair Gel Got me Comfortably Through a 100+ Mike Bike Ride🚵🏾♂️
I used this product to treat a saddle sore for 2 days leading up to a 100+ mile bike ride, along with taking a soothing bath each day using "Dr. Teal's Foaming Sleep Bath" which also has epsom salts. I did not have the saddle sore on the day of the ride, and I did not feel any discomfort during the 100+ mile bike ride as well as my daily 20 mile rides I did on each of the 3 days subsequent to the ride.
