Sleek and a dream to build in!
The Meshify 2 Compact looks incredibly sleek in black with a proper premium finish. The build quality is solid throughout, and the cable management is genuinely excellent, with plenty of space and smart routing options. Airflow is great thanks to the mesh front, and the whole case feels well‑engineered. Perfect balance of size, quality, and aesthetics.

Good case
Nice case on the smaller side, fits my 4090 SUPRIM X 24G2. Front door also helps a lot when cleaning. Build quality has been good and it's easy to take apart for deeper cleans.

Another fantastic Fractal Design case.
I really like my current PC case, a Fractal Design Mini C, but needed slightly more space for a longer graphics card (although I prefer smaller cases) so I chose the Meshify 2 Compact. It's another quality Fractal Design case and has better airflow, thanks to its mesh front panel which also has 1 USB C + 2 USB A, is wider enough for a 4070 Ti graphics card, has a dark glass side panel and a solid side panel (to hide the cabling mess), has lots of rubber grommets to neatly pass cabling through including above and below where the motherboard will sit, and has a PSU shroud. The only negative points, which haven’t affected my 5* rating, are that the bottom filter fits very loose so is very likely to rattle from time to time which is annoying. I had this with the Mini C and had to put some tape along the edge of the filter to wedge it in place. This time I will probably slightly bend the metal grips underneath that the filter slides into. I would also like to have seen some sound dampening material on the inside of the solid panel, like the Mini C, although with a mesh front panel it probably would be of little benefit. In a few years time, when I replace this new PC, I expect to see Fractal Design cases at the top of my wishlist again.

Good, very compact ATX case
The quality is good, and the fans are quiet and efficient. One of the best things is that the top is detachable, so you can easily access the tricky top-side parts of the motherboard (e.g., the CPU socket), even if you've installed a bulky cooler. However, it's too compact for my taste—cable management is tricky—but it's just the right size for my table. The PSU mounting cutout was too tight for my EVGA 850V model. I had to remove the logo to stick it there. It's not apparent how to connect the fan cables, especially the RGB ones. The manual includes a drawing, but I found it unclear. Eventually, I daisy-chained both power and RGB cables, connecting the last power cable to the CHA_FAN socket and the RGB one to the case's SATA cable, which was hidden in a bunch of other cables. Ah, and you need to know that there are no dedicated power sockets for the fans on the top of the backside of the case, if it's the *Compact* model. So you need to connect the terminating RGB cable to the motherboard (to control the colours using software) or, as I did, connect it to the built-in SATA cable (it must be there!) Lastly, there is too little space for the PSU cables, so keeping the disk cage(I removed it) might be tricky.

a nice try but only partially successful.
This is a nice case. The design, materials and manufacturing are very good and it comes with helpful docuentation. BUT, the sales/advertising talks of dust filters and it has none of these - the dust filters are gratings and are really only fluff-filters. In addition, there are many gaps in the case, such as where expansion cards are fitted, that allow in dust and fluff. So, a nice try but only partially successful.

Poor standoff screws and holes
Worst case I've ever built in, the standoffs were all stripped within minutes and required a plyers to screw them in. I had to disassemble the pc recently and my motherboard couldn't get away from them.

Quiet, cool, builder friendly.
With many replaceable panels the case is very friendly for builders allowing you to deattach and reattach main components like the rad mount and psu shroud. Be careful if you are using a 3080+ card however as it will be a very tight fit if you use anything other than the provided slim case fans. I barely have any clearance with my 120mm vardar fans.

Gutes Ding
Sehr gut durchdachtes Gehäuse. Passt alles rein, auch die größten Lüfter und man kann alles abnehmen, was bedeutet, dass man einfach überall rankommt.

Amazing ATX mid tower for first time builders!!!
After tons of researching for reviews on different ATX mid tower cases to use as my first time pc build, I finally settled for the Meshify 2 Compact, and I couldn’t be more happier and pleased on my decision. This case just screams of high quality while still being extremely easy to work with and with lots of space to fit your build components in. I never realized how much of a cable management lover I was until I began my project, and this case made it easy to fit my semi-perfectionist cable management needs. Although I did have a bit of trouble in fitting my Asus z790E mobo equipped with the Arctic Freezer II 360 LG1700 backplate adapter, due to the backplate sitting on the left-side edge of the small window opening, I was still able to successfully Mount and secure my mobo at the expense of not being able to use 1-2 stand-off screws. With my current water cooling setup of Arctic Freezer II 360 with 3 Phanteks 120mm T30s and 3 Phantek RBG halos on top of the T30s, I still have about 2 inches of space between the mobo and the T30 fans, though i might not have enough space and clearance (or maybe I do) for a 3-vent GPU. While the three stock fans that came with the tower were decent, I used the three 120mm fans that came with my water cooler, which fit nicely as the exhaust fans on the top and back of my case with more than enough room to route the pwm and a-rbg cables without any pinching spots. As for the water cooler hose, it rests perfectly without exerting or pushing on the tempered glass panel. As for noise levels, it’s literally non existent for me on idle. When the T30s pick up on the RPMs on boot up and or under loads, the noise levels are still extremely minimal. Everything on this case was easy plug-n-play and I’m super pleased and proud to have chosen this case as my first ever. Next time I’ll go with the black version of the case to fit my build's aesthetics. If I could give this case 100 stars, I would definitely do it. ** Edit ** I added new pictures showing newly added accessories, and switched the radiator position to make additional space for the GPU. I’ll have to get a bigger case next year to make better use of my Lian Li strimers, and I’m definitely glad I went with a 2-fan GPU (Asus KO 3060-Ti). Airflow is still great! 😁
