The colour is very consistent and can be applied very thin and smooth. I'm not sure what else to say about it, but it's some of the highest quality spray paint I've used. Just to give you some context, I'm using it for Gundam and other anime-related models. Many thin coats is the name of the game, and this gets the job done. Looks very realistic with weathering applied as well.

Excellent Quality Model Paint
I feel very strongly that when it comes to models, and model paints, that Tamiya is the best quality you can get. I have used this product many times and it always works perfect, and is very Historically Accurate. Highly Recommended:)
