This vacuum sealer works really well and is very easy to use. It seals both dry and moist foods perfectly and helps keep food fresh for much longer. The machine feels sturdy and works quickly without any hassle. Great value for the price and very useful for everyday kitchen storage. Highly recommended!

Lightweight, compact, quiet, works great!

At this price point and less than HALF of what others cost, it's a nice little machine. I had a Food saver Elite fry (power company had wiring shorting to my house ground, turns out...but they're not responsible 🙄), and I just couldn't see spending $185 on a new one when I got that one on sale at $129. Repairs on the old one could cost more than this thing by far and just weren't worth the hassle, $$, and I had a bunch of things prepped to be sealed soon anyway.This one was surprisingly easy to use, though getting the larger 11" bags in the exact spot is tricky at first. It seals FAST compared to the food saver, comes with the moist seal option, and a tube with fitting for certain vacuum seal tubs, I suppose; this also has an attachment for the premade bags and such to seal manually. It's compact so there's not a ton of counter space taken up, touch sensitive buttons (capacitive?), light, not exceptionally loud (quieter than the Food saver), and fairly easy to use. I only wish the cord was about 2-3' longer as it doesn't reach more than couple feet. Overall, I'd recommend it!Oh, I've sealed at least two small (8") rolls and 1-1/2 of the large (11") rolls into it since I started using it. I find it occasionally doesn't stop vacuum to seal at times and I manually press the button to seal up... only real hiccup in operation. Thanks for reading.

Easy to use. Seals items tightly. You can use either with canisters or wine. I would buy this again.

The dependable vacuum sealer! We purchased our original NutriChef food vacuum sealer in August of 2018, it had worked perfectly for us over the years, no problems or issues and saved us a lot of money. The quality of this product is undeniable, years of service to us and now we have purchased a new one. It comes with easy-to-follow instructions, low noise level, works great for dry or wet storage and food preservation. The unit is very compact, takes little space on the counter and has a nice look to it. Long lasting tool and a very good price.

If I could give zero stars I would. My recent email: I am reaching out in frustration. In September, my husband and I purchased a vacuum sealer. Within a month the item would no longer properly seal our food. We went through a replacement process and received a new one. I believe we received the new one sometime in November. Today my husband went to vacuum seal $80 dollars worth of meat we recently purchased only to find that again the vacuum sealer will release the seal during the final sealing process. We have used multiple types of bags to have the same result. At this point we do not expect a new item. We purchased the exact sealer multiple years ago, and it worked great until it finally gave out. We have now had two in less than 6 months to now be out money from the purchase of a new sealer, and now potentially $80.00 worth of meat. We are a one income family and rely on the vacuum sealer when we come across deals on meat. All you have done is now cost us money. I will make it my life goal to make sure no one else is put in the position my family has been with your product.

Edited review- This vacuum sealer came with a "register & review in 7 days & get 2 free rolls & add a year to your warranty". Well damn, I wasn't ready! Didn't have anything yet to seal! Messed around & didn't post my review till like day 9 or 10. I hoped I had gotten it in "close enough", NO. Oh well. They extended the warranty though, that's cool. Ok. So I really did vac seal the fish. Really was easy & had no problems. Now for my REAL review- now that I've had it longer & used it several times. OMG I had this vacuum sealer in & out of my cart a dozen times, read reviews until I thought my eyeballs would bleed, pondered "will I REALLY use it?"- held my breath & just went for it hoping for the best. I Love this thing SO MUCH!! Since the 1 piece of fish I have done- pork chops, cube steak, raw chicken breasts, cooked chicken, shrimp, more fish and ground beef. All that & I still have some of the roll left that the unit came with (it also came with 4, I think, premade bags- I used those 1st. I think I prefer the roll)! I thought it would be something that I would drag out when I had a bunch to do at once. So far, I have had it out for 1 or 2 things & put it back up- quick & easy!! 2 weeks ago I got almost 3lbs bone in chicken breasts for almost $4. Come home, threw it all in the slow cooker/butter salt & pepper, that evening shredded chicken, divided up for 2 suppers & vac sealed both. Made for quick & easy meals later- chicken chili & quesadillas! I was like "OMG if THIS was the ONLY thing I ever use this thing for it's still worth every penny!". Probably took me, after the chicken was cooked, 10 min to shred, seal & toss in freezer (chicken was spread out on sheet pan as shredded to quick cool). When ready to use it thawed in minutes. Bought family pack of chicken breasts, divided into 3 meals, grilled 2 & sealed 2 meals worth raw. It was no inconvenience to get the sealer out for 2 things & it only took a few minutes. I am SOOO PLEASED with this unit!! I have had no issues with suction or seal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Works great for dry goods but does not like moisture. Quit working after sealing some parboiled veggies for freezing.

Great product, works just as well as the expensive one I used to have at a fraction of the price!

1. There is a lot of plastic waste with this device. It may be true with other devices as well so I don't know if this complaint has value only for this product, or if it's an indictment of all vacuum sealers.2. It's tricky to get the best vacuum for the product before it auto-seals.3. If you have a lot of fast turn-around in the freezer, (weeks rather than months) I think you're better off using ziplock bags and not bothering with a vacuum seal. At least ziplock bags can be washed and reused. These are all single-use plastics.4. This product is best used for items that go in your freezer for a month or more at a time. My turn-around time is shorter than that.5. Perhaps the cost per item is actually higher than buying ziplock bags. I haven't run the numbers, but the machine is pricey (but not the most expensive one you can buy), and the plastic rolls are expensive too.
