Gamma Racquet Stencil Ink

Product started off great. I was so excited the day I received it (yesterday). I made four successful stencils. When it came to number 5, I shook the bottle as instructed, opened the cap and flipped it over to start the stencil. The bottle emptied out and poured all over my racquet and table!! The inner stamping cover was off and lodged in the outside cover!!! It was tough to clean up - such a huge mess and disaster!! ALWAYS check the inside cover!!!!

Bought this to do some simple string striping on my Babolot racquets. While I waited on the order to arrive Prime (yes, I'm that impatient), I did one racquet with acrylic hobby paint my wife picked up for me. The second day I used the new stencil ink.The test was my first match outing. The acrylic lasted about 1 set before starting a heavy fade (I hit a lot of top spin). However the stencil ink lasted 2 outings and around 6-7 sets before fading.I'm a fan. I love the look of the stenciling, it has no affect on my strings or my spin so I will be ordering this product regularly. Also important was that there were only a few light lines/demarcation on the balls so the balls weren't getting roughed up.It's fairly simple to use. I recommend putting a large paper towel underneath the racquet as even a medium speed application can splatter - the sponge top gets plenty soaked without even squeezing the bottle. With a stencil you can probably move pretty fast and not have any over-application to nearby strings. Since I'm working without a stencil and a little picky, I just quickly wipe/scratch off any over application to nearby strings outside my 2 bands.I have not tried it on the black parts of my frame, though I may test that and update my review. For the frame, the flat acrylic paint worked beautifully and only needed minor touch up.

Works very well, though I'm not sure it has the most amazing shelf life. Make sure it's still very "liquidy" when you go to use it. I bought a bottle of the red color locally from a tennis shop (also Gamma), and it was like tar that wouldn't flow at all hardly. Needless to say, it had been on the shelf a long time. Not sure it will last terribly long, but as long as it's "sloshy" in the bottle, you should be good to go.

Just be warned that this does not stay on polyester strings (Babolat-high gloss strings) It come off super easy and leave strong marks on your balls regardless of how long you let it dry. Works awesome on nylon (Yonex- matte strings). Will flake off a little if the design is in your strike zone, but really solid.

Color came out and balls got all black in very first game after using this on the string.Not worth the money and time spent.Tennis partner scolded me for using this and making new balls dirty. :(

Paints great. completed two rackets front and back no problems. will last a long time I'm sure.

Wears off after a game. Does not really last long. Maybe it’s the strings I don’t know.

Very good ink, goes on very well and shows even better with new or used strings. The only con is that it that it will come off on the balls causing the colour to hold on the sweet spot of the racquet for a few hours. The rest of the stencil will stay forever!I would highly reccomend this product !!!LL

I made a custom Stamble to reproduce the Yonex Logo. I used this to paint it on my Yellow Strings. This made a Great job. I still cannot tell about the life duration about the product because I left it away and Im now at 800km from it during 4 months, SorryThe application of it work well, nice color. I would say that you can apply for more than 1 job of paint. Maybe 5 with this bottle. Maybe more
