Serious Work: How to Facilitate Meetings & Workshops Using the Lego Serious Play method

A Seriously Fantastic Resource
I am a certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® materials and methodology, and have used the this approach for over 3 years. Until now I have relied on my training materials, one book and other open source materials as references to keep me inspired. It's fantastic to have such a complete and thorough resource guide in full color with plenty of examples, photos and clear instructions. I ordered the digital version of Serious Work back in November and liked it so much I decided to purchase a print copy, too. I have to say, it’s beautiful and fantastic! It’s so satisfying to have the print version to hold in my hands. This is an amazing piece of (serious) work. I highly recommend this book to anyone curious about the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® materials and methodology and those who are certified facilitators looking for a valuable resource guide.

A great book to understand what is behind the LSP
A great book to understand what is behind the LSP. Have a great examples and it is very visual. I recommend it widely. It is necessary to say that this book is only introductory and if you want to deep in the methodology you should find other manners to fill the empty spaces that left this book in the methodology.

Must read for anyone interested in LEGO SERIOUS PLAY
I just started reading this book and it is incredible. I've read the LSP Open Source document, watched several videos by Marko Rillo, and conducted my first Build Level 2 workshop in China. Sean and Marko pull it all together and simplify the process, as well as providing great facilitation notes for Build Level 1 activities. This book has definitely helped me improve the way I'll be conducting future workshops. The only thing reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the editing and typesetting seems to have been a little sloppy, some words are joined together, there are a few sentences that look to have been accidentally chopped off mid-sentence. Other than, the content is awesome and I'm looking forward to attending the LSP Facilitator course in March with Robert Rasmussen.

Book with practical tips on how to visualize ideas using LSP
Easy to read book. Nice layout. With practical tips on how to organize a workshop using LSP. Recommended the book to several of my colleagues who are workshop facilitators. Had great success using the techniques!

Good content but not high quality publication
Good introduction to practical LSP and general facilitation skills. Good layout. Good scaffolding for beginning your own LSP facilitation practice. Rife with typos which makes the book, the authors, and LSP appear far from professional. Not so hot. Also filled with references to the authors specific products, which, to their credit, are easily available on their blog... but again, detracts from the specific focus on LSP. I look forward to reading the publications of other authors on this subject as well.

What could go wrong with a bunch of Legos in ...
What could go wrong with a bunch of Legos in the room?Oh - yeah, we could loose one and someone could walk into the room at night, not turn on the light and step on it barefooted - nah, that'll never happen.

Helpful piece of advice
I just finished this book. And even as a trained and certified LSP facilitator I find it very comprehensive and useful! It gives good advice and hints and goes beyond things you learn in training.

A Classic
Mark Rillo and Sean Blair's pioneering book is perhaps the first book of its kind that offers practical insights on facilitating meetings or workshops using Lego Serious Play technique.Till 'How to Facilitate....' was published most books in the market were quite academic in nature. This book is pioneering in a sense because it focuses on the nuts and bolts of an LSP training than on the theory. It is unpretentious and focuses on the "How" part of facilitation. The authors have included plenty of pictures throughout which make it very appealing to facilitators who have a visual learning and teaching style.

Excelente libro !!!!!!!!
Para entender mejor el método e iniciarse en esta metodología es lo mejor que me he encontrado, gráfico, estructurado, amigable y sobre todo generoso en la información.

Good but some typos/formatting issues
Generally, it's an OK book. Fewer templates than I had invisioned. There were also mistakes in formatting and grammatical errors. This was tiny though.
