Is this is a good mouth guard for ice hockey?

The SISU Aero mouth guard was designed for general sports whereas the SISU Max mouth guard was designed for high-impact sports. I would recommend the Max guard for ice hockey as the likelihood of impact is higher.

Will this work for trombone players with braces ?

is this made of silicone ?

Not sure of the exact material but it is not soft and flexible. I would say it is made of a medium to hard plastic. It is comfortable and not large and cumbersome like traditional mouthpieces.
