Great piece of kit and a must for anyone with the Dewalt range.I have two of these now, and a single charge will get you through a day of excessive use. They are on the heavy side, but worth it.A recharge with a standard Dewalt charger is roughly 1-2 hours.No issues with fitting. Happy to recommend.

Great product and quality

I've used this battery with different DeWalt tools and overall it works well.Performance is a bit lacking for a 5Ah battery. I did not see any improvement over my original 4Ah that are about 3 years old. Actually, it seems that it performs and lasts less than the original one.I've noticed that the circular saw struggles and stops when there are still 2 lines of battery (full battery is 4 lines on my model), while when I use the original battery the saw struggles and stop only when it reaches 1 line (3 lines for full battery).I think it would be better suited for a drill or an impact driver than for a saw.I would definitely not recommend for a professional use.But, for DIY and hobby, especially considered the price, it's a good product.

This has been a great buy for use with my DeWalt garden tools and drill. Holds it's charge well and does the job perfectly. Great quality and great value.

Very good back up

Really bad. Not worth the weight even!You would be hard pressed to believe this is 5ah battery it's rubbish imo.Weak, power drops considerably very fast and stays there to make you believe you are getting 5ah.My Dewalt 2ah is still superior than this bad battery option.

Bought the Wheatley branded 5ah 3 years ago and it has served my well used strimmer and occasionally backs up my drills.Great value
