Cat Castles: 20 Cardboard Habitats You Can Build Yourself

I found this book and poked around a little and found it in excellent used condition for under $2! I haven't done more than flip through it yet, but there's many great ideas!!

I got this book to transform some Amazon boxes into a fun birthday present for my box loving cat. I was not disappointed. Her favorite was the plane. If I were to change one thing, it would be to have more variety of images of the boxes made. If your cat loves boxes you will enjoy this craft book.

My niece had already started making stuff for her cat out of boxes so got this for her to give her new ideas and templates.She loves it and has made several projects for her own cat and my two as well.

I can make stuff on my own fine and I’m only 10. But it’s good to have inspiration. The book said to try different boxes to see what you’r cat prefers. I knew my cat (don’t laugh at her name) Sweetiepie prefers low ceilings and I only had one box, a nornstrum box, so I saw what I could make. It turns out my cat likes that better than my big project, an actual castle I tried to make for her from online. The point is, the book has good ideas and is very inspirational. And to the person who said “no exact measurements” is a bad thing, their wrong because all cats or kittens or tiny puppies are most likely different sizes and shapes. Yay Cat Castles!

Fun book to look and but I’m too old and too lazy to execute any of these designs. I love looking at the picture but i know myself ... I’m too burnt out to actually make any of this stuff.If you have a lot of time on your hands and lots of extra energy you might be able to reproduce these designs . I’d pay good money if somebody makes these things and sells at a flea market .

Love this! Very cute ideas! My cat was less than impressed with his castle, but *I* had fun building it. And he does occasionally sleep in it so its not entirely a waste. But just wait until he sees his rocket ship! Then he'll be impressed! Sure he will.

Awesome book! I think this book is a breath of fresh air. Instead of my Amazon boxes going straight to recycle; I can have my cat live in them. Every cat needs their own rocket! I took a picture of the tools needed and the projects within.

I think this book is not only hilarious but actually pretty cool! The illustrations on how to build out of cardboard is actually rather interesting. I got this as a secret santa gift for my brother inlaw who happens to have a cat and he thought it was great!

What cat doesn't think they are a king or queen? Great fun book with good variety of complexity castles to make. Just make sure you keep lots of boxes!

Bought this for Father’s Day hoping to get more cool hideouts around the house. Our hooman hasn’t made any yet but he did say he will start with a pirate ship 😻- Draco and Yuzu, 11 months old kittens

We are moving soon so I am giving this as a present to my creative wife for something to do with the moving boxes.Bizarre item.

I bought this as a gift, and the recipient loved it. Might have to get another copy for ourselves! Lots of clever ideas.
