Perfect cooler backpack.
I really like this cooler backpack made by the picnic time brand. It is great for carrying items that need to be kept cool on a picnic. Highly recommend.

Buckle broke
Everything is great except that the buckle broke out of nowhere after using it the second time.

Waterproof and insulating...but not squirrel-proof
I brought this on a 2-day campout to really give this the full test. Day 1, I loaded it with ice (bottom) and a coolpak (top), and in the middle put all manner of food to keep cold. The first night of the campout, we forgot to close the trunk of the car (oops) and found that a squirrel had sniffed out the goodies and had managed to unzip this and was nibbling at one of the sandwiches. Hmm. So when we went out for the day, we made sure the cooler bag was fully rolled down and locked into place. We left the bag on the table in the shade, and when we came back later, we discovered that a squirrel had chewed through the folds in the top of the bag. Because it was rolled, it never actually got to the food, but it did completely ruin the bag with holes and chew marks.Amazingly, the ice at the bottom of the bag was still half frozen, even after over 24 hours of being in the cooler in 80+degree weather. There was water at the bottom of the bag, but it was fully contained by the bag and did not leak through. The straps of the bag allow it to be easily carried, despite a heavy weight. The bottle-opener attached to one strap is a nice feature. Essentially, this is a great bag for many cooler situations, but don't leave it unattended outside for any length of time, at least if it has food in it.

My new favorite cooler
Perfect accessory for the summer. It's a cooler in backpack form... where has this been all my life? It's simple, yet genius concept and is also offers a ton of use. I've used this backpack for a couple of get togethers and it was a hit. It's got a nice, modern design and literally no one would've guessed that it was a backpack that was dedicated to only being a cooler. We used it for an outdoor event when it was around 80 degrees outside. We packed in a few beers (a mix of cans and bottles) along with some ice and it held up like a champ for at least 5 hours. The drinks stayed cold throughout the whole event and it didn't leak at all, and it was super easy to clean afterwards, aka we basically just wiped the inside down with a towel. It also has a high capacity - it is rated to hold about 42 cans. I think 42 might be pushing it. We filled it with a case of beers and some ice and it was getting pretty full. I imagine that their 42 number might not include ice.I love the style of it as well. I randomly own a ton of backpacks, from Jansports to Timbuk2 to North Face, and I think this holds up with the rest of them in terms of looks. I've gotten a ton of compliments from people on the styling. The different colors are awesome as well.It has some really smart design choices. For example, the roll top is great... when you open up the top, just roll it down the sides and it becomes a free for all grab bag bucket for anyone to enjoy. It also comes with a bottle opener attached to one of the straps, which is really convenient. It also does have a front pocket that is decently sized. It's large enough to shove a couple of phones and wallets in, which is good.Overall - highly recommended. The fact that it's a backpack opens up a ton of opportunity. Now you don't need to lug a massive cooler around a beach or a golf course... just wear it on your back. Like I said before, it's simple, but genius.

great food pack
This is a solid, well made pack for carrying items such as wine. The roll top takes a little getting used to, but it is lined and designed to work as a cooler for food and beverages. The pack straps work better than I expected, and the handle on top is a nice touch. The liner is waterproof, and there is also a waterproof covering around the bottom of the bag.I haven't had a chance to use it for an extended period, but on the short runs I have made with it, I have been happy with how well it works. The shape and top handle also lend it to many other uses.If you are in the market for a food or beverage carrying pack, definitely give this a serious look.
