These were amazing with wet sponge, never done tile cutting/drilling before - popped it into screwdriver and at an angle and it did a great job with lots of different tiles without any loss of wear. Good stability and compatibility, cutting speed is good to my liking as it avoids mistakes. Size selection to what I needed was good. Appearance wise they do look well made and I will be lending those to my friend. Slight chipping but I'm blaming that on myself as that was the first tile cut.

I bought this 35mm diamond hole cutter to go through a 20mm thick solid porcelain slab to install a tap. It’s a tough material to get through and thought I’d give this a go as the bargain price was worth the risk. Sadly the pilot bit in the middle of the cutter is completely useless, as it melted and disintegrated within 10 seconds of use. I removed the pilot then used the main cutter by holding it at an angle and slowly tilting up as I went. Very impressive cutting speed as it easily went through the porcelain in about 15 seconds. I’ll give this a 5 star rating despite the pilot drill failure as it did the job I needed without spending too much. Couldn’t see any wear on the diamond edge, so it would appear this may last for many more jobs than I would have expected.

I wasn't expecting much because of the price. I needed a few different sizes and looked on the Screwfix website as that is were I usually buy tools. A 5 piece set from Screwfix was 70 quid so I thought I'd try these first. I don't know how long the diamond edge will last but they cut through ceramic tiles without any problems. I used them in my pillar drill and they cut a clean accurate hole. Definitely worth the money.

There good value but I’m not sure they will be as good after a number of uses, that said I might be wrong, however they are ideal for my needs.

Forget the expensive sets, this set of cutters is excellent. I bought these whist working away on a job, next day delivery because i had left my expensive set at home. They go through ceramic tiles like butter, porcelain floor tiles too just go slow and steady on the porcelain whist adding water and no problems. Very clean cuts with precise diameters. I can’t say about the durability as I only used 3 sizes for a total of 12 holes one of which cut 7, 6 through ceramic and 1 porcelain with no signs of burnout or wear. For the price of this set id more than highly recommend. Brilliant product !

Unfortunately, these tile cutting bits were a complete waste of time and money. They simply would not cut through the tiles properly and weren’t strong enough for the job. We ended up having to purchase different cutters to get the work done. Very disappointing and not fit for purpose in our experience. I would not recommend them.

As described and great value for money

Tremendous value. I've used the drill set on 8mm thick porcelain tiles and they are really effective. Good clean cuts and showing no sign of wear. It's worth practising your drilling technique on some scrap tile first before taking the plunge. Excuse the pun.

Good for soft wall tiles but more difficult on harder & thicker floor tiles. It served my purpose to drill the wall tiles.
