Wrong part . Mine takes the heated type . The part was probably ok but just wasn't what I needed so I still 5 starred it

ST220, sorted the breathing issue out.

As noted in a relevant Ford forum, on how to test (mine is OE 2002 80K miles): "...remove it and toss it in the trash. If it doesn't bounce back out and reinstall itself, replace it." Mine may have just enough closed bleed to put the MAF just out of range viz the "misfire monitor" triggering rare check engine lean code.
