Frost King SB36W Extra Brush Door Sweep, 2in Wide x 36in Long, White-Aluminum

Easy to install and keeps unwanted critters off the porch. Especially good if the material it opens over is rough such as a brick or stone surface. I replaced the original rubber with this brush type and for my screen door it is just the ticket!

I could only find this in white on Amazon. No luck in any local stores. Had a unique situation with a door that was set too close to warped hardwood floors. This will keep bugs out while gently brushing on the finished floor for this particular situation. It looks great in white. And fits the bill perfectly

It was easy to install and seems to block out the draft under our door well. My main complaint is that it arrived with some of the bristles bent due to the plastic wrapping being lodged in the sweep during shipping. I didn’t attempt to return it as I didn’t want to deal with the hassle and it’s not that noticeable. I hope that after some use, the bent bristles will return in line with the straight bristles.

I was getting bugs from under my patio door. This has really decreased the amount. I am happy with purchase.

I mean, what is there to say, it works the piece feels relatively solid and it is cheap! Our door does not open perfectly level with the floor so the solid door sweep we had would get pushed up 1/4" or so opposite the hinge side every time we opened the door, then when you close the door it remained with that 1/4" gap just not good for energy efficiency and or small bugs. This sweep makes up for that 1/4" gap I screwed it in place so that it cannot rise up when opened and when the door is opened the bristles are pushed aside, then when it closes the bristles fall back into place while the sweep stays where it is intended to be. Seems like a very specific problem I have, but I bet someone out there is looking at this review for the very same reason.

Great quality and is very simple to install. The brush is very thick and long which gives more options to cover a big gap between the door to the ground. The mounting screws are included as well. Great quality regardless of the price is very low.

I can't say how to value the "Stretch" feature for this door sweep. It's a 3' piece of aluminum with bristles for sweep - nothing stretches! This could use a second person to help install it; however, mark the screw holes, the height of the bristles so not to get stuck on the door trim, and cut to size for width and screw the piece in place. There's a little bit of wiggle room to raise or lower the piece if need be - exact placement isn't entirely necessary... The aluminum is strong enough that you''ll need something to 'saw' it size. The bristles are sturdy enough, that if they're too low they will stop the door from closing all the way...

Great product and great color. Unfortunately it was curved at the top part of the plate and it didn’t work well for the door. Have to return and start looking around.

Should work great for a door sweep. I'm using it in a different project so can't speak to longevity, but it feels really well made.
