Transon Red Sable Filbert Paint Brushes 6pcs for Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Tempera and Gouache Painting

These brushes are superb for oil painting. I paint portraits and figurative subjects. I use mostly high end brushes but I needed some new soft filberts in the sizes this package offers and I didn’t have time to wait for paintbrushes from overseas. Well I gotta say they’re so much better than I imagined they’d be! The videos for these don’t even do them justice. I feel like making a video just to show that but I don’t have time. They’re soft yet they have a wonderful spring to them. I’ve had these brushes now for almost a week and I’ve been using them every day. They hold a good amount of paint so I really have to wholeheartedly disagree with reviewers that say otherwise. They also clean very easily. I use very little solvent in my practice. Only at the underpainting stage. Otherwise, when switching colors I wipe off excess paint on a paper towel and lightly dip my brush in safflower oil and that wipes the paint off. Oil actually cleans oil…slower than solvent for sure, because you need to wipe them a little longer, but it’s not abrasive like solvent is. The hairs don’t shed when you’re painting and they don’t shed when you’re washing them. After every painting session I wipe the paint off on a paper towel with some safflower oil, then I wash them with lukewarm water and soap and they keep their shape beautifully once they’re dry. These brushes are a real bargain for this price! They’re excellent. Really glad I got them!

Excelentes pinceles por el costo que tienen, sólo un detalle, recomiendo lavarlos muy bien al principio pues pierden algunos pelillos y pueden quedar al aplicar la pintura, pero conforme esto pasa los pinceles trabajan sorprendentemente bien
