Good solid strong strap with metal fittings
I have bought a great many of these straps to replace those on my camera equipment that came with plastic attachment clips. They are strong, comfortable to wear and have given trouble-free service. I have even modified my picknicking cool box to enable one of these clip-on straps to be used to carry it.And, I am also now on the radar of those of us carrying a Makita DSLR!

It hangs
Excellent, bought for makita dvc750L hoover fits easily and looks great, could do with being a little longer as im 6ft 3, but thats a minor issue. If you want to hang on yourself use makita strap.
