Spring Valley - Vitamin C with Rose Hips 1000 mg, 250 Tablets

Q: Is this vit C made from genetically modified corn? If not what is the source?

I am very allergic to corn usually breaking out in hives which take weeks to clear up. I tried a new hair, skin, and nails product from another retailer. I broke out in hives. I stopped taking it but could not figure out why. I purchased Spring Valley Vitamin C with rose hip last week and the hives got worse. Comparing the two products, I discovered they both had croscarmellose sodium which is usually made from corn. I am returning this product to the local retailer I purchased from.

We are not sure about GOM Corn in Vitamin C, this vitamin C is definitely Gluten and Artificial colour, Vitamin C with Rose Hips, ascorbic acid, microcrystalline, cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, crosscarmellose soduim,
