I've burned a hundred discs with this and I think I've only had problems twice

Software is glitchy, randomly works well and then not so much...On top of that amazon lowered the price $30 after I purchased and WON'T refund the difference! Boy do I feel like a valued customer! So I returned it and have to wait 3 WEEKS for a refund! All of a sudden Wal-Mart is looking pretty good!

I have used Roxio Toast for years with good results although it has been a year or two since I needed it. My wife is very hard on cd’s and dvd’s so I always make a copy for her to use and keep the original. Well she bought a movie so I loaded Toast to make a backup.It told me I needed a new version to use with my updated OS. So I bought the latest version. When I tried to make the backup it said the dvd was protected with CSS encryption and would not copy it. 😟 I guess that’s okay, just a little disappointing.Searching the internet I found programs that would “rip it” or change it to another format and then save it on my hard drive. But if I burned that to a dvd would a regular player show the movie? I just wanted to make a backup for her to use. Oh well 😐I’m still a fan of Toast and I’m sure I’ll use it for other things.

This product makes burning a DVD easy. One limitation is that there still are issues with compatibility with stand-alone disc players.

Purchased an upgrade from Toast 10 to Toast 20. Loaded 20 with disk received, could not open applications. Called neck support 3 Xs. After 20 min on hold 3Xs quit. 4th time after 21 min was connected to a person with a heavy accent. Could not understand.

I've Used Toast for Many Years... still am, even though cd's are not very popular, I still use it for some of my clients

Have a M1 Mac and purchased Toast 20 for the Toast Audio Assistant. It can record audio streamed from your browser in previous versions. Does not work. Toast Audio Assistant still at 1.0 with no updates available. Lead to believe in the description it works on M1 Mac. Can only assume that is not the case. Customer service Chat does not respond.

Not as good as the older versions I had.
