This pumpkin seed oil is very dark in color and tastes almost roasted, but has a nutty pumpkin flavor. I was hesitant to use it until I researched further. What I found is that cold-pressed, organic, extra virgin pumpkin seed oil is typically dark in color, depending on the thickness and type of pumpkin seed used. This is due to the presence of chlorophyll in the pumpkin seeds. My skin loves it, food tastes better, and a spoonful a day is healthy, just don’t get it on white clothes. I don’t like that it is sourced from China but the product speaks for itself, it is a great oil and I will buy lots more.

This came to me fast and in good condition. It has a dark rich roasted flavor. It is oil so expect an oily taste. Incorporate it in your food for better taste. I haven't been using it long enough to see the benefits.

The taste is fine. Very subtle, tastes much better than it looks. (Was expecting it to taste yucky like castor oil.) Goes well in banana smoothies as well as mixing it into soups, rice, veggies, after they are cooked. I'm using it conjunction with several other supplements for an enlarged prostate. (Saw Palmetto, Stinging Nettle, Beta Sitosterol.) I cannot say just how effective it is after about 8 months of consumption, but my prostate hasn't gotten worse. And maybe at age 71, that's about as good as it gets, I don't know. And admittedly, I often forget to take it. For now, I will continue using it in my regimen, and I'm about to buy my 3rd bottle. No ill side effects and pumpkin seed oil surely has multiple benefits besides the prostate. No complaints.
