You should practice using it before you have to use it. I took it on a roadtrip and it came in handy on the way back home. Be sure to point it down so the force of your stream doesn't back up.

Love love love these! I bring a pack to camping, music festivals, international traveling! It feels great to be able to stand and pee vs squatting/hovering over a public toilet!

I simply cannot praise this product enough! This changed my life, no more squats to pee. I am team standing to pee from now on. Sorry for TMI but squatting hurts when the pee lasts forever (especially when you are at a bar or a festival). I bought this to use at a festival and since it worked so well, I use it everywhere now. Always have it in my purse. After reading some comments that you pee yourself using this, I was hesitant. I did practice trials at home first in the bathtub than actually over the toilette. Never peed myself once (though be cautious). My strategy is to make sure the wider side fits perfectly to "you know where" and press it firmly without allowing any leakage. Also do not tilt it forwards to aim the toilette (then you might actually pee yourself). Instead just come as close to the toilette as possible, make sure you are holding the wide side properly while naturally pointing the narrow end over the toilette and just let it go. Put your pants all the way down which helps with being closer to the toilette. Or find whatever position works best for you. But once you do that, you will never want to go back to squatting!

wanted to give 5 stars but only giving 3. very useful however some of them already have a hole where it's folded, when i first open it. that's just poor quality. the folded design lengthwise is good but there's NO reason to have the first fold on the inside and as low as it is, and so near the trough. a competitor brand has that seam at the top which is a much better design. too easy to overflow as is.

I keep a packet in my car as a back up. I these are ideal for using when going on hikes. They’re also a hygienic option whenever you don’t feel comfortable using a public restroom.
