Tru Fire Edge Release
The edge release by Tru Fire is a very high quality release. Quite, smooth, adjustable, very comfortable and it folds back for climbing into your stand. The price is much better on amazon than retail stores and it is worth spending a little more to get this release. I have shot everything from the patriot to the hardcore max and this is my favorite. One additional bit of information is that the release shown is the old model the new model which is the one I received has the new style and red stitching and is the one shown on Tru Fires website for exact specs.

The shooting is smooth and i like the fact that the trigger swivels easily so it is always in the proper position to hook onto my string hook. Also I can hook the strap very easily around my wrist using a buckle which then hooks under a plastic holder which keeps the rest of the strap out of the way. Way easy to remove the release also using one hand.

Sweet release, but it stinks.
The adjustments are easy done. The fit is comfortable. The action is smooth … BUT the leather strap stinks to high hell. Definitely need to neutralize that before hunting with it.

Great.
This release is great. Being a lefty, it works perfectly for me. The clamp is spring loaded so you do not have to hold the clamp closed like some. It extends pretty far out, but I'd like just a bit longer in my next one.

Comfortable strap, there are enough adjustments for beginner to advanced archer, and it's relatively affordable.

Very nice release have always loved truefire releases feals great strapped to your wrist and very durable

Premature release
Out of the box I noticed the trigger adjustment screw seemed a little too far out as there was a small gap in the jaws. I hooked to my d-loop and pulled back a few inches and the release gave way. I backed down the trigger adjustment screw and the jaws no longer had a small gap. I went to shoot a test arrow and the release gave way and prematurely fired sending my arrow flying. I couldn't believe on my 1st draw that the release failed. I tightened the trigger screw down more and tested point blank at my target as to not lose another arrow. I was then able to shoot about 40 arrows without and issues at 60# after making another adjustment to the screw.I will not buy or use TruFire releases anymore as I no longer have the peace of mind when pulling back my bow. I keep thinking the release is going to give way every time I draw. I went ahead and ordered a Spot Hogg Wiseguy Release.

Great Release
This is an excellent release for the price. The smaller head in great and the adjustable trigger is a nice feature. The foldback feature is more useful than you can imagine. I highly recommend this release
