Best reusable water bottle
**Update** Been using mine every time I leave the house, for work, school, or other, it's been 18 months and only now has it started to leak. I really liked this bottle, I rarely cleaned it, as I only used water, and it would get slightly musty smelling if I left it in the sun, but I honestly washed it maybe 6-7 times in 18 months! Also, I've stepped on this several times, by accident, and I only weigh about 110lb, but still! My stepping on it didn't cause the leak though, just noticed it around where the cap meets the plastic of the bag. wish I knew how to recycle it. -adult child Bought one for each of us for Christmas. Adult children LOVE them and use each day. I use mine only when I want water (no ice or flavoring) and am out and about shopping, hiking, etc. I'd seen a co worker with one and she loved hers, highly recommended them. At work I want to add half ice to my water so I used a covered cup. The opening would also make it a little harder to refill using the water cooler dispensers. I'd have to put the opening right up around the flow valves from those machines and I am not confident with our cleaning crews attention to hygiene. (Somehow I think if there is more air space then my drink won't get contaminated--could just be me.) When shopping though, or WHEN I CAN'T FILL IT FROM HOME, then it's great--my go to bottle, use it 1-2x per week. Wonderful for air travel because you can just collapse it into your bag or pocket. My kids love it, use it at their work places, school, work. They fill them up, partially freeze, even use them at home instead of the endless barrage of cups. They like to use them at home because the house cat considers any open container an invitation for her to have a sip. I would have liked to purchase different colors. We put our initials on ours with a permanent marker. I thought I was ordering different colors, was amazed at the change in price. So, out of all of the reusable containers we have purchased and used over the years, this seems to be the best water container.

Most useful and durable water bottle ever!
This water bottle has traveled with me to multiple countries and multiple states in the United States. It is truly the only item that I carry with me whenever I travel, whenever I go to work, or when I go hiking. It is so durable, I have never experienced a bad taste or smell, and my favorite part is that it collapses. It is perfect when traveling by plane. Believe it or not, when I was carrying it with me on my last trip to visit some friends, one of my friends also commented that it was their favorite water bottle that they’ve ever owned.

Great bottle but won't last forever
I bought this to replace another Vapur which lasted for years. Unfortunately the threads on the top eventually started to wear and the bottle would leak at the neck. The bottle itself is excellent - durable and rolls up to be easily packed. I went with the larger size this time but that's just personal preference. Beyond the eventually leak, in not crazy about the mouth and lid. It's functional, but something more robust and with a slightly larger mouth would be better. Despite the negatives, I used this for several years and will continue to keep it in the bottle rotation.

Capacity less than stated. Carabiner appears flimsy. See Revisions after long trip overseas!
I bought the 34oz, Water Blue version. The top unscrews to make filling easy, however I was unable to get anywhere close to 34oz into the bottle. The nearest I managed was 28oz and even that amount was only achieved by coaxing the plastic to open wider - previously the most I could manage was 26oz. So that was a disappointment. The plastic carabiner looks flimsy, however it does have some flex so perhaps it will survive. I'm away to Portugal and Azores for 3 months so I will get to fully test the bottle's endurance. Yes, it does stand upright once filled. It does not appear to leak. The water in the bottle did not smell or taste of plastic after an overnight stay in the fridge. The plastic construction material does not inspire confidence. Again, only time will tell. I found the video review I watched to be amusing if only because it dodged the obvious questions such as capacity or durability. I will update this review after I return home from Europe. ------------------------ Okay, back from Europe. We visited Britain, Portugal and the Azores. Trip duration was 66 days. We hiked approximately two out of every three days, made trips to the beach, and relied on these two plastic bottles for water. So then, some observations: After a few uses, the bottles held the prescribed amount of water - I guess the plastic relaxed somewhat. Anyhow, by the end of the 3rd we were filling to 34oz. What about durability? We made eight flights and when not in use the bottles were scrunched up as shown in the product description. Whenever we were between apartments, one of the bottles was filled with water and frozen in order to protect certain medicines. Despite the abuse neither bottle failed or leaked. Outstanding! The top fitting unscrews which makes filling (and draining) very fast. Reading some of the comments, I wonder if everyone realized this? Anyhow the o-ring seal held up perfectly, as did the carabiner loop which I thought at the outset looked rather flimsy. I think the key to 'not breaking' was the plastic itself - flexible rather than rigid and brittle. I did not try and hang a 34oz bottle off my belt, but other occasional uses did not stretch or break the carabiner. I did NOT attempt to store fluids other than water. I think this is important to note because sticky, sweet fluids, soup etc., would be a problem when it came to cleaning. Common sense should apply here - these are primarily water bottles... for water! If you do use them for something else, be sure to flush them immediately after use and maybe consider a solution of bicarbonate of soda (or lemon juice) to suppress growths of any kind. Even in the Algarve (coastal) the bottles dried out if you unscrewed the tops, so no issues to report and the bottles remained healthy throughout the trip. Looking at the bottles now we are home. They've obvious seen 'some use' and cannot last forever (unlike my REI bottles which I've owned for 20+ years.) Functionally they are not a 100% replacement for proper camping bottles, but they are incredibly versatile, light-weight, and in our experience completely durable. I expect to use them on several long trips before I need to consider retiring them. Conclusion. I've revised my opinion of these water bottles and upgraded from 3 starts to 5. These are now my primary go-to water bottles for day hiking and extended overseas trips.

Vapurs are my favorite travel bottle!
Vapurs have been my favorite travel water bottle for years. They are super easy to roll up, use the built in carabiner to hold it together, and toss in your bag. I like to use the 1L size to keep in my flight bag, or backpack, carryon, etc. I then use the .5L or even the .7L to carry around with me as I explore a city just in my pocket. The 1L might be a little too large to keep in a pants or jacket pocket but the other 2 can easily fit in a jacket or pants pocket. When you finish the water, it folds flat or rolls up to take very little space, but is right there when you find a place to refill.

Awesome light compactable water bottle option! Held up well on trip!
Love these! We used these a while ago for a trip to Universal. They worked so well since they can fold up when it isn’t in use and are not heavy even when filled with water. We decided to take Fanny packs only since you can wear them on most of the rides without having to use a locker like you would for normal backpack. Because of that we decided to look for foldable water bottles and found these. This was so easy to use, just clipped it to my Fanny pack and it worked great both empty/ folded as well as full of water. Was great compact option which gave us the ability to have water without bringing a larger heavy water bottle. It obviously does not keep stuff cold like a heavier metal one would (as these are plastic) but still enjoyed the convenience of being able to put it away easily. 4 of us each had one and used them over multiple days and they held up well with no leaks or tears. Was worried they may be hard to clean but was easy. (I added a small rubber band to mine, which you can see in the picture, so I could keep it closed easier when I was using the clip)

Practical water pouch with a CRITICAL FLAW: the good, okay, and bad
Read for specific good/neutral/bad detail ratings GOOD -capacity: This bottle (1.5L) works great. It holds 2-3x more water than standard water bottles, and I can pack it into almost any bag. I bought this on August 4th, 2022, and it's been used basically daily for 2 months until now. -cap: closes tightly without any leaking -ring holder/carabiner: extremely useful for just holding the bottle with one finger or attaching it to a backpack. -design: it looks modern and sleek. NEUTRAL: -material: after ~2 months of abuse, it's held well, but almost all of the originally pristine plastic is duller and scratchier now -shape: unfortunately no 1.5L bottle of water is easy to hold and drink from, but the flexibility of a pouch like this makes everything harder. With one hand you have to create suction to drink water (highly advise against bc you might choke). With two hands it's less of a problem, but I don't like drinking with two hands. Also, you have to tilt your head quite far back. Basically, don't think this is one of those bottles that you can just grab and put to the side of your mouth to drink from. It's more like a storage container than a bottle. -because it's nearly impossible to wash this bottle, you can only really drink water. It's not that big of a deal because I don't know many people who would drink 1.5L Gatorade or protein shake anyway. -collapsing: yes, it does collapse, but it takes a minute to roll up, water doesn't evaporate out when it's rolled up, and you have to force the carabiner clip to rotate into locking the rolled up plastic. It's not as fast or easy as they promote in the product video. BAD: -durability/product design: so, 1 month after I got the bottle, it started leaking where the screw on cap meets the plastic. I guess I banged it onto a hard surface and it pinched a small hole. No biggie, I put electrical tape over the small hole and it fixed the problem. I also put it in many other areas where I thought there might be a chance of leakage. However, 1 and a half months after the first purchase, another leak sprang, and this bigger leak caused a lot of the things in my bag to get wet. It was at this small "hinge at the bottom of the bag where the inside of the pouch was like less than a millimeter from the edge. I had worried about that area failing ever since I got my hands on this bottle and sat it upright. The water pouch buckles there and I guess it experienced a lot of wear and tear--not the best for a particularly vulnerable/thin part of the bottle. This time, no amount of electrical tape could do the job. I had to throw away the bottle and keep the cap for future use. OVERALL: extremely useful product that keeps you hydrated and stores a lot more water than normal bottles, but design+material prone to unfixable leaking. I will buy this bottle again just because it's literally changed the way I drink water, but remember that it's almost like you are paying a $10/month subscription for a bottle that can leak like this. I'm not sure others would have had the desire to tape leaks shut like I did. Again, this bottle has traveled to Iceland, been thrown around soccer fields, and repeatedly folded up in 1 1/2 months. I think it held up well for a pouch like this in rough hands like mine. But definitely consider my above points when deciding if you want this bottle. If you're more gentle you shouldn't have a problem with this bottle.

Great, but description of volume is deceiving
I really think this bottle will be a game-changer when I am traveling. It’s also handy when I am teaching, as I have to carry all my things with me room to room. It clips easily onto my bag, and is light, even when full. My only complaint? I ordered the 34-ounce bottle, but try as I might, I can only get 24 ounces into it.
