It would be easy to spend more money
This GLS Audio 6 ft 12 AWG Speaker Cable represents an incredible value! It would be easy to spend more money, but it would be difficult to find a higher quality cable at any price. This is truly a professional grade cable made from premium materials and the quality is top-notch! I've purchased many different brands of speaker cables over the years from some of the top retailers, both mail-order and brick-n-mortar. This is the best cable I own. 12 AWG is ridiculously heavy gauge wire and will easily handle >2 kW high current amplifiers driving low impedance speakers without batting an eye at it. The 1/4" phone plug (Tip-&-Ring) connector design will give out before this cable will drop any voltage across it. You'd be hard pressed to buy the raw 1/4" plugs & wire and build your own cable for less money than this cable costs fully assembled. I'm an avid DIY-er, an E.E. by trade, and have been soldering since before I was 5; but I wouldn't even THINK about trying to build my own cables, not when these GLS cables are available at this price point. The rubber jacket is soft and flexible while the ends are neatly soldered and heat-shrunk at each end. The over-size 1/4" plugs are heavy-duty and fit my Marshall head and speaker cabinet jacks perfectly - nice and tight, but not "too" tight. There's something about just holding this cable that screams Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y! You absolutely cannot go wrong with this cable. Trying to save a few bucks (like $4?) and purchasing a lower quality 16 or 14 AWG cable is nonsense. I can't imagine what a higher quality cable would look like, but this cable will suit ANY professional stage or PA application without breaking the bank. You can pay more, but that extra money will be wasted. Buy this cable and never look back!

Awesome Cable, Awesome Price!
Let me preface what I'm going to say by stating that as a professional musician for more than 40 yrs I have purchased my share of cable; some were good, others not so great. I have to tell you that that these cables exceeded all my expectations from the price to the quality of the product. I initially needed to have longer cables to be able to extend my speakers from the stage l/r sides and wanted a bigger guage wire so I would not have any signal loss. MY current PA setup is a Yamaha EMX860ST that drives two Yamaha S115V main speakers and then I feed the monitor out to a EV Force amp that is rated at 450w per.ch. I had been using some other mfg's cables and they were cutting out after just a couple of months use. When these cables arrived, I noticed first the heavy duty construction of these cables; not just the cables but the connectors as well. They were not cheap connectors; these units are meant to make positive connections and stay put, very robust. I wanted to see if the inside was as robust as the outside. I'm also an electronics technician by trade and I was impressed by the overall workmanship and quality of the connections made; these aren't crimped connectors, these are positive solder points and care was taken to ensuring that they were done right. No "bigger the blob, better the job " with these solder joints; very well constructed and care taken to ensure that quality was behind the product. Latly, the only other thing that had taken me by surprise was the price. I told myself that I can't believe that this much quality went into a cable that is much less than the "bigger" manufacturer names out there..just icing on the cake. As long as this company is still in business and making a quality product like this, I will keep buying. I'm really wanting to start replacing my patch cables, instrument cables and microphone cables with their product to see if they are just as good. My bet is that they are!

Didn't realize how nice this cable was until I bought a cheaper one
A good speaker cable should be something that, once obtained (and with proper common-sense handling and care), you don't have to think about ever again. I bought this cable last year, and I haven't thought about it once since I started using it. Or at least until I ordered another "12-gauge" speaker cable (on the right in the attached pic), which had me yelling ,"Oh HELL NO" once I opened the package. This is a quality cable, as you can see in the attached pic (circled in red). It's properly insulated at both ends, very beefy and feels as solid as it looks. The AWG wire gauge (12-gauge) is also printed clearly along it's length. It has performed flawlessly, and I've had ZERO doubts about it's ability to perform it's intended function flawlessly and without frying my bass amp. I'll be keeping it until I no longer have a need for 1/4"-to-1/4" speaker cables, or it gets stolen, whichever comes first.

Amazing cable for the price, almost too-good-to-be-true, you will LOVE these cables!!!
I was a little skeptical how good these would be for this price. I have other, MUCH more expensive speaker cables, but I wanted to give these a try. All I can say is WOW, THESE ARE GREAT. Super thick, ends are well made, doubt I will ever have problems with these super thick and well-made ends, which are also heat shrink tubed covered inside. They come with the ends loose so you can inspect them, takes all of 3 secs to tighten them up. I used these with a Line6 Spider Valve and a Peavey cab, all running 16 Ohms. Everything about these cables says quality, from the thickness of the cable, to the ends, nothing here seems like a shortcut, yet the price is hard to believe. I am considering selling my name-brand, 3x the cost cables and getting more of these. Another nice touch is the velcro straps that comes with each cable, they come 2 per cable. It is not cheap velcro either, they come with good quality velcro straps that have the clasp. While I have plenty of velcro, this was just a nice touch. How is it possible these are made at this price? Anyway, I bought several in case they change their mind and charge more for these. I would replace them if lost/stolen, and I am recommending these to everyone I know. Goodbye monster cables, hello GLS cables :)

GLS cables for me from now on. Bye bye overpriced Digiflex....
Excellent cables. These cables are beefy, and as such they have some weight to them. I run these from my Jet City 50H to my custom 112 cabinets. I've had no problems with them at all. My old cables were just crappy twisted pairs that came with the previous amp I had, but when I built my new rig I knew strong cables with very low resistance were necessary. I bought 12ft cables for playing live to be able to place the cabs more strategically in different venues but at home they sit under the amp head. You need to come up with a way to hang these cables if you dont want them on the floor because they are heavy as I stated, and can pull on the output/ input jacks. All in all, way way beyond their price range. GLS cables for me from now on
