Brought this for my son as he lives in the country side and has to walk the lanes late at night, he’s told me the range of the light goes far and really is bright, it’s sleek compact and feels very durable and quick to charge.

Wanted a tourch as me and my partner like to go on walks and with the nights drawing in was about time we got one. So we chose this torch after reading the reviews. So been using it for around 4 weeks, so far its a great torch for the price, easy to charge, lightweight and battery use is very good as well. Does light up a dark area really well with its ability to alter the zoom, buts light up the area really well. We use it to go on evening walks and if we go on walks to country parks but a bit late in afternoon. Great torch for the money as its light, durable, battery is quite good (albeit a bit fiddly to charge) but its bright and lights up dark - pitch black areas really well, so great for walks in the evening. We have purchased another tourch (as u can't have too many when enjoying late night walks ) it's is a better torch but did cost more then double what we paid for this one hence the review (good torch for the money) won't be disappointed if your looking for a torch for evening walks in the dark, its really good quality and lightweight.

Nice kit received promptly and intact. Caviats include the black on black box and content which makes each part hard to find. A coloured contrasting detail would be useful. I recommend a day glow yellow. The front lens on my was lost first time I used it reducing area of light by a huge amount and the intensity of the beam. I suspect that it was not fixed in place or detached when I accidentally dropped the torch. The light did stay on or the whole black item in the dark really would have been an issue. The torch comes with wrist loop and rechargeable batteries and back up clip for emergency betterys. On the whole a small hand and useful kit.

Wow this shines a long way very bright. Use a lot when walking dog when camping. Can charge phone on it. How good is that.

The torch is described as being 6000lm and rechargeable. In reality it is neither.It comes with a poor quality external usb charger. Fotunately, it also has an option to use 3 AAA batteries which is probably how the torch will be used.It is described as providing 6000lm. This is definitely not the case. From the two images, my 1000lm rechargeable Eveready torch (the second image), that was brought at a lower, is significantly brighter. It appears that this torch is no better than 600lm.Interestingly, there is no mention of the torches brightness in the packaging and the images provided are more realistic capabilities of the torch. So it appears that its capabilities were exaggerated in the description to make the torch more attractive.Still giving three stars as the torch appears to be well built and comes with a useful case and torch holder. It is also similarly priced as to similar torches from a supermarket. So cannot say it is a rip-off. Would have had a higher rating if it was properly described.

I bought this torch as a present, I only turned it on to test it and it does seem bright and absolutely fine for the price, I paid about £18.However, I really didn't like to have to keep clicking to cycle through the settings....click on full power, click off, click on half power, kickoff, click on low power, click off, click on strobe click off, click on SOS, and so on to cycle back around. It just means you have do 12 clicks or so on/off just to cycle back around to full power etc, it just seems really unnecessary.
