Smooth Power.
This is the second one of these I have had. I let debris get into the fan intake and fried the first one. The pure sine wave electricity this inverter produces powers my 200 watt electric motor on my sharpening machine quieter than the electricity from my house outlet! The motor makes more noise running when I plug it in the wall than when I use this inverter. I tried the cheap modified sine wave inverter from Walmart and the motor was really making noise, had to return that one. I have a small marine 12V battery and I can run my machine for about 8 hours before the inverter shuts off due to low voltage. I am happy with the performance of this inverter although the included battery connector cables on the current model are shorter than the earlier version so I had to keep using the old cable from the fried inverter or I would have had to make my own.

The pure sine wave is perfect in my Motorhome for supplying power for my Laptop ...
The pure sine wave is perfect in my Motorhome for supplying power for my Laptop and monitor. I chose the 3000 watt model so could power other stuff like coffee maker etc. (There should be a big note telling you about the arch when connecting for the first time). Capacitor saturation causes this arch and it scared me. It all works fine, 13.48VDC to 122VAC (on mine) I have 250AH Deep cycle batteries. I tested it with a drop light and a medium size oscillating fan. The USB port worked fine too. Very cool, I have a 25A circuit GFCI protected and USB charging port. I will never use its full capacity, but that's how you want to buy these things, get a much higher rating than you need, that way you won't ever overload it, or operate constantly at full capacity. It's new, so as long as I get long term use out of it I will be very pleased.

Odd ball nut size for positive and negative posts.
Aims, use a common size like M6 or M8 with a common thread size. I've had this inverter for some time now and was going to put into service with a new lithium battery. The problems is the nuts are missing for the positive and negative posts. I went to my local hardware store and a fastener store and the nut size of M7 with thread pitch of .75 is not to be found. Why would a company use such an odd sized nut? This is very frustrating and unnecessary.

I expected more...
Came on time. Packaged well. Works ok for small loads, but will shut down with more demanding loads. I purchased this item specifically to run my 1300w microwave in my RV. It shuts down immediately, even though it's not close to peak power. I'm disappointed.

Great product, customer service lacking.
Well, I've had this product for a few weeks, and it has done all I've asked it to. I was camping, and using solar, and I was able to run my laptop, charge my phone, and even run multiple power tools, and they al behave as if they are running off of ac power. I am quite satisfied. The one issue that concerns me, is that I have never observed the internal fan operating, even when I intentionally loaded it with over 250 watts steady draw. I have made several attempts to contact customer suppprt, including leaving my contact info on their message system, but have yet to hear back. I am entirely dependent on this inverter, and cannot afford to purchase another, if there is a chance that this one will suit my needs, so I am forced to make this post in the hopes that customer service will reply to me here. As I said, I love the device, and feel that it is perfect for my needs. Seems to a solid build. Cables and clamps are above average. I want to build it into my system, permanently. I hope I can get some answers to my questions. I will be happy to give this item 5 stars, if my questions can be addressed. I will update this comment, if my issues can be resolved. Update, aug 22, 2017: Well! The fan finally came on, today, for the very first time! So, it is functional. Despite the literature claiming that it would come on at 100 watts, and a brief customer service claim that it would come on with 'use', it seems that the fan is temperature activated. Inverter was being used to charge a powered off laptop in a very warm environment. It ran for just about one to two minutes. Measurements indicate it is outputting just 1 watt at an external temp of 95 degrees, after the fan shut off. I was not able to test while the fan was running. I still have received no reply from the tech dept, only the general services people have replied to me, thus far. Again, I love the product, but am deducting one star for the poor customer service.

High quality pure sine inverter
High quality pure sine inverter. Works well and provides high quality power to sensitive electronics which can be prone to dirty power provided by modified sine inverters. I use this inverter to power my computer w 3 extra monitors, a modem, external hard drive and external speakers w a subwoofer. Works like a charm! A cheaper solution than an expensive UPS. Yes the fan is loud, but I only install this into my hybrid car when I have a power outage. My car is in my garage so the fan doesn't bother me.

600w inverter that can't take 300w load
This product has had issues from day one. If I plug in 2 laptops at once, rated at 65w as 85w respectively, it works most of the time, but it'll beep every now and then, even though it's not too hot, nor is the voltage high or low. Also, when I plug my RV fridge, drawing 300w, it beeps, goes red for a second and shuts down, and then won't turn back on. I unplug everything, check the fuses, all good. But it won't turn on. Unit is not hot. Then, a day later I'll turn it on and it'll come back on. I measured my appliances with a kill-a-watt so I know the exact loads. I've had this for less than a year and already need to replace it. Don't recommend it.

Needed an inverter that would run a 1/2 HP well pump from an off-grid battery bank. This one does it easily. Standby consumption is also very reasonable with a no-load current of only 1A.

Shorted out the second day I used it....wouldn’t send me replacement and forced me to accept a refund. I did not bother to re order

This unit works well, cable sizing is very important undersizing is the reason I think a lot of people have problems. Runs my washing machine and dishwasher, electronics won't allow my modified sine wave to run them. Draws a lot of current when at idle.

I used this to run a battery power backup system for my house. I tried several others, some cheep, some around the same price, none did what they were spec'd at. This does exactly what it says. Out runs my fridge, tv, computers and furnace without flaw. 120v and pure sine And the price is great.
