Blowing away the Blues.....
The quality control is excellent. I bought the Easttop 'Paddy tuned'* harmonicas in A, C, D and G and they are all well matched, showing signs of careful assembly, good quality and in tune. Easttop are obviously aiming to take on Suzuki, Hohner, Tombo et al, with very competitive prices and high production standards. The icing on the cake is that the Paddy tuning really works and, like other reviewers here, I find them easy and pleasant to play.*Paddy Richter tuning is a variant of the standard Richter tuning, it raises the third blow hole a tone which makes it much easier to play Celtic melodies or folk tunes. There are other tunings you could try such as 'melody maker', but Paddy has probably become the most common, both because it was invented and well promoted by Brendan Power and because it is relatively easy to modify most diatonic harmonicas to this tuning.(Brendan Power's videos on how to adjust the reeds and tune a harmonica are well worth viewing).
