Super impressed!
Great fun for myself and my teen, my partner got involved too. We found it really difficult though so did have to use the hints available online. We are blown away by how well designed and thought out everything is though, the added websites with sign ins, emails etc were such a surprise that we didnt consider they were an option. Would definitely buy another one! Really cant get over how much effort is put in to the creation of it all!

Feels like a real case
Such a fun and engaging activity! The attention to detail is incredible, and all of the evidence feels so realistic, making the whole experience immersive from start to finish. It was exciting to piece everything together and solve the case. I enjoyed it so much that I’ll definitely be buying more. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves mystery and detective games!

The best of the murder mystery games, in my opinion
This is the best one we've played so far, and I've played a few. It keeps you guessing all the way until the end. My partner and I were in disagreement of who it might be, so it's not entirely obvious (I was right, and she almost convicted an innocent person, wahaha). Great for a cosy night in with your better half, some nibbles, dim the lights, music on cheaper than going to the cinema or something, and a much more wholesome experience in my opinion. Probably took us a couple of hours. I love the fact you have to use your phone to crack the detective email password, and login to their email account to search for clues, it's a really cool addition.

Fantastic if you love mysteries and problem solving
I bought this after it had been recommended to me as I love puzzles and murder mysteries. It arrived quickly and I was really impressed by the quality. It's well thought out and I really liked that there was a variety of 'evidence' to go through. There were also additional challenges along the way such as code-breaking and using the evidence to find online clues. There's a lot in the pack including photographs, newspaper articles, receipts, leaflets, evidence logs etc and online clues too, so even though you can only use it once, I think £19.99 is a fair price. The variety also makes it feel more realistic which I really enjoyed. It's easy to work through. The instructions are very clear and everything you need is provided. The only additional things I'd suggest are having your phone / laptop so you can complete the online clues and potentially pen and paper - I didn't want to mark it as I know others who will enjoy it so I'm going to pass it on. You can also swap and share if you know others who enjoy similar activities.I completed it solo and after reading the reviews, I'd planned for a chilled evening in completing this and having a bit of childfree time to myself! I had a suspect in the first 10/15 ish minutes and then finished within around 45 mins. Because I finished quickly I was a little disappointed because I'd hoped it would last longer. It also felt a bit anti-climatic and I kept rechecking things, wondering if I'd missed something or if there was more to it before I submitted my answer. However, this is also 3.5/5 in terms of difficulty and because I love puzzles and this type of thing, I think I should have chosen a higher difficulty so it's not a reflection on the product, more just a recommendation that if you love this kind of stuff, you might be better choosing a harder one. That said, if I were completing this with others, I imagine it would have taken much longer due to sharing out evidence and discussing information. There's a lot of evidence to go through so that's definitely a bonus! Again, I think this is really well thought out. There are hints available online for if you're really stuck with I imagine would be great if you were completing this with others. They might also help prevent a Monopoly level fall out!! This is definitely something I'd play with family and friends. Due to the context of it I'd say it's suitable for adults and teens as advertised. Some older children may enjoy it but I'd always base that on the individual child and check all of the content beforehand. When my son is a bit older, I imagine we'd enjoy a full day playing something like this and (with my teacher head on) I love that he would need to use a variety skills to complete it, compared to traditional board games and activities.I really like that there are a variety of mysteries available and that there are different levels of difficulty so you can find an appropriate level of challenge. I'll definitely be buying more of these. I think I will probably get another at this level to complete with others and a harder one to complete alone. My only real criticism would be that there isn't really anything conclusive along the way. You can figure out who has or hasn't done it but for a couple of people there isn't really anything definitive to say it's absolutely not them. You have the evidence and you just have to kind of assume you are right in your thinking. Maybe that's part of why I didn't spend as long on it. Once I knew who it was, I became less interested whereas I guess I could have spent more time trying to find definitive answers to rule everyone else out.Because the company already utilise online resources, it might be good to have something where you can say "It's not x BECAUSE..." and input a reason. Then it could let you know if your reasoning is correct / incorrect without giving away if someone is or isn't a suspect if your reasoning is wrong. When I got to the end I was given reasons that were different to the ones I had. That would just give an option of keeping it going a bit longer as there might be certain clues you have overlooked.Overall, it's really engaging. If you're careful with the contents, there's no reason why you can't pass it on because they are all high quality - I know my mum will love this so I plan on buying a few so we can do some together but also share the more difficult solo ones.I know some reviewers have mentioned it being expensive for one-time use, however I do think the quality makes it worth it. The contents are as pictured and I was half expecting things to just be presented as printed on A4 but that was not the case. Every item of evidence is realistic right down to leaflets with train timetables on and paper receipts on receipt paper. I'd also say it's worth it in context if you are getting a full evening of entertainment out of it. You could easily spend over £20 on an evening out or takeaway. In terms of the type of product, I haven't found anything similar or at the same standard, so if you like mysteries and problem-solving, in my opinion, it is well worth the money. All in all, I'd definitely recommend trying it out and I'll be buying many more myself.

Great mystery
You are really thrown into the deep end at first with nothing to start with but figuring out who to suspect made it easier to solve. Instructions could have been clearer since it led us to use unnecessary things and came to some wrong conclusions. Same with some evidence where a few were just vague and not thoroughly conclusive evdience. Overall a pretty interesting game and fun to play and gift as a present and would recommend to try out - similar to a mini escape room but with a lot more reading involved

Great value multi media murder mystery game
I got this for my husband as a gift. We played it together over a few nights. We often watch crime thrillers on TV. This was an alternative that was even better because we felt right in the thick of it!We followed the evidence which struck a good balance between challenging but not impossible. We found all suspects, eliminated those with alibis and landed on the person we wanted to charge. The mix of physical and digital design of evidence and variety of types of evidence really brought it to life.It was a great gift my husband loved, quality time spent together, I’m getting more in the series as they are so playable and great value for money.

Fun way to spice up game night
My friends and I love true crime, this was the perfect activity for us to do together and really test our investigate skills. The 3 of us solved it in two and a half hours but the time flew by. It wasn't super hard and once you figure out the first clue you'll start to get the hang of it. It came with everything needed to solve it (except the computer which it tells you is needed or you can use a phone) and the quality was really great! A great game to play with family and friends who want to spice the night!
