Has it all!
This InstallerParts tool kit is a must-have for any home or small office network setup. It has everything you need to install and troubleshoot Ethernet cables, including a crimper, tester, stripper, cutter, and more. The tools are well-made and feel sturdy, and the kit comes in a convenient carrying case. I've used it for several projects and it's made the job much easier. Highly recommend!

Complete kit, great for home use and repairs
Disclaimer - I am not a network professional. I'm a home gamer handy with home repairs, electronics, DIY projects and so on. I discovered that the 110 punch down blocks installed in my house before we bought it were very much lacking in install quality. The Cat6 cable ends had only ever been inserted with the plastic tool that comes with Leviton network patch blocks. I was diagnosing issues with speed and connectivity when I realized - I didn't own a punch down tool, or RJ45 crimp tool. This kit, was not only available same day - but it was a complete set of all the tools I needed to fix cable ends, keystone blocks, the 110 punch down blocks, and test connections. I will say this - these are not network professional "use them everyday for billable services" kind of tools. What they are is great for repairs, home installs, or light service work when you need the right tool. The case for the tools is sturdy and compact so its not going to get in the way in the garage. I would recommend these to any home owner either refitting ethernet to home, or making repairs to someone else's install.

Great kit for networking newcomers
I am relatively new to the world of networking, at least in the field. This is my first purchase of a networking tool set, and it has served me well even on my job where I had some of the tools already. The cutting quality is excellent, especially the crimper. I had no trouble stripping sleeves off cables and crimping on rj-45 ends. I have admittedly not used the toner just yet, but everything looks great and the case is super sturdy and durable.Great value for a starter kit, but there are other brands with better-quality tools at higher prices for more experienced users.

Really Good Product
This was the VERY FIRST set I purchased when building out my needed tools and since then I have purchased more expensive and bigger name equipment. Interesting enough - I always seem to come back to this tester, crimper, and stripper. It just works! Be cautious though when probing POE switch ports, or powered phone lines, as the probe tip is metal and it will create a spark.

Not great for solid core CAT6
Just a novice at this, but I could not get CAT6 solid core wire to make a solid connection. I got 7/8 wires but really struggled to get all 8. The rest of the tools work well with CAT6.I ended up paying $45 for a Klein pass through CAT6 crimper which replaced the ratchet crimper in this box. I had much more success with that [Klein] ratchet, however, I still used the rest of the tools in the kit. I like the box that comes with it, and the tester, although feels a little cheap, did the job well. (Requires 2 9V batteries).
