It is not a 2 ply. It is a very soft luxurious blanket. It has a deep green color on the edges.

what material is it made out of?

Not sure but is very soft warm and kind of heavy whi h I love . You cannot put in a home washer too heavy. I love solaron Korean mink blankets. I have been absolutely hooked on them for about ten years . Cannot sleep without it
