Sooner or later, your Ryobi fan will get damaged and need replacement.For my Ryobi, I had to remove all screws, then completely disassemble it so that I could hold the motor shaft with needle nose pliers to screw on the new blade.Dismantling and reassembling isn't too hard, except that Ryobi uses some heavy gauge wires inside which can get in the way during reassembly.The fan works as well or better than OEM. I find that it is quieter and performs better than the original.Replacing your fan blade is way better than buying a new one. The new Ryobi's are junk and hardly blow any air. Stick with your old one.

This product works as advertised. With the help of a Youtube video, I was able to install this part in less than 30 minutes and by blower works as good as new! When the blower fan gave up the ghost and exploded on my 4-year old blower, I figured it was toast and bought a new one at Home Depot. It was a newer model with the same speed and blower rating. I used it one time to blow the grass clippings off my drive and walks after mowing and realized immediately it was underpowered for the job. It cost 45% more than the original. I returned it and received a refund, figuring I would have to buy a larger one for twice the price of the one I returned which would have been nearly $300 to replace what cost me $99 four years ago. I researched my old blower and found it could be easily repaired, so I purchased this part for under $10 with free shipping (with other items we were ordering anyway from Amazon. This was a no-brainer!

One of the blades had broken off my Ryobi blower causing a high pitched sound and decreased blowing velocity. I found this for a replacement and it fit perfectly and was a much better economical solution compared to buying a new blower. The replacement itself is not the easiest but watching a few YouTube videos was all that was required to learn how to replace my broken fan blade with this one. Since the replacement, 8 months ago, I've had no issues and all has worked as it did when I first bought the blower. Again, the only watch out is that if you are not handy and/or mechanically inclined, you may need some help removing your fan to replace with this fan.

My blower lost a blade on the fan and made a very loud howl. Thank you Amazon on having a replacement part to install. It was easy install with a lot of screws to remove. to remove the old fan just use a wrench to hold the shaft while unscrewing the fan. Just screw in the new fan and tighten slightly.
