Great for covering a pan when you are frying something. It definitely keeps the splatters from going all over your stove. It's nice that it has three different sizes, depending on the pan you are using.

These splatter guards are fantastic. It protects my kitchen and lessens the cleaning I need to do. I like the various sizes so it fits whichever pan I’m using. It does what I needed it to do. Very easy to use. The handle doesn’t get hot and the entire set is durable

It always been awkward to use a pan lid to keep the oil splatter off us and the stove so we thought we would try the a splatter screen. The U.S. Kitchen Supply Splatter Screen is reasonably effective preventing the majority of oil from splattering out of the pan..but not all. Read on for our test results......... -- THE TEST: We tested the screen to get an idea how effective it was. Our test consisted of 4 tbs of olive oil heated to smoking in a 9" pan. We then added 1/2 cup of water and the spatter mess began. We could still see and when holding my hand over the screen, feel some splatter escaping but a significant improvement over no screen. The video attached shows our experiment. To further illustrate the amount of oil splatter escaping I placed a white sheet of paper over the screen for a few seconds. The paper, shown in the picture attached further reveals the rather small amount of splatter making it through the fine mesh. One observation was that the big splatters, the ones that will fly out and ruin your cloths and burn your skin were 100% eliminated due to being broken up by the screen. The small splatter while some still escapes, does not have the drop size or velocity to reach far so helps contain any mess. Not perfect but a big improvement. -- LETS MOISTURE ESCAPE: Another advantage of the screen is that it lets the pan contents moisture escape. This is important on some food so that if your frying the moisture coming off the food doesn't build up, make a puddle of water and preventing a good fry. The video again shows the steam rising through the screen. -- EASY TO CLEAN: Just a rinse and wipe with a sponge and some dish detergent made it look like new. -- ITS BIG: at 13" diameter this will cover every pan you have. Its still very effective when covering a smaller pan and overhanging as we illustrated in our test. CONCLUSION: A big success. A great reduction in the splatter mess and couldn't be simpler to clean and for us we hope to ruin a few less shirts!

Based on the photo, I expected these to open up, but they do not. The handle is fused to the mesh screen. They do help with splatter, so they are fulfilling their need. The build quality seems fine, especially for the price point. Would recommend.

If you've ever bought splatter screens at a big-box store you know they're usually pretty crappy and not sturdy. These are sturdy, well made, and look nice! I love them!

So nice to make things without worrying about the mess. Bacon with no pop and burn? Perfect!! Fit all my pans exactly as i hoped. The mesh is very strong and durable while also being super easy to clean. Great set for the price!! I have to grab one for my parents now because mom likes mine so much. Great splatter screens and they work better than the typical ones you get at Walmart, etc. The mesh is finer and the grease spatters do not get thru as they do on the cheaper ones. No more grease mess on my cooktop.

Very heavy pieces. Does the job. Only issue, the handle does not fold up.

mentioned size was 32 cm which never got delivered. got it replaced twice and had to ultimately return it back. NOt wat i was expecting fo the price. got a right one at a cheaper price from day to day (Dubai) for 9 aed

The product clearly says it is 13 inches which is 33cm. But the size when i received is only 20 cm
