Good camera. It has a good resolution, good night vision and a wide range of vision. You can monitor it with the Xiaomi Home app and works with "ok google". Good product!

We use this for our Coffee Shop and it has worked perfectly. Very easy to install, the app is very easy to use and the best part is no subscription required. Just pop in an SD card and you are good to go.Also, when compared to the competitors, the app is very easy to navigate. We were using Ring before and to find an event at a certain time-frame, we would have to manually scroll through an entire recording to find the event at a certain time-frame. You cannot do a search or a sort by time on the Ring cam.With the Mi, all recording are sorted by hours and minutes. For example, if you want to looking for something at 8pm. Just click on 8pm and then scroll through the thumbnails that is sorted by the time of recording. So easy!The quality of the video is also very clear. I can clearly read the digits on the cash counter from 10ft away. This camera is mounted on the ceiling via USB cable. You can also pan and tilt the camera! Love this camera and will convert all our shops to using the Mi cam.

The camera’s basic functions are OK. Camera view is clear but not very sharp during nights.HOWEVER, this camera has a very stupid design: it talks unexpectedly. One night, my 3-month baby was asleep. I looked at him from phone APP, then the APP notified me it needed to upgrade. I pressed the upgrade button then I heard that in the upstairs baby room the camera loudly said something, perhaps notifying people it is upgrading. It was not just a short beep or other common notification sounds but a long sentence spoke by a robotic female voice. My baby was frightened and cried for half an hour.Later I talked to other friends and many people said the camera has other annoying notifications for example if your home WiFi network glitches then the camera will yell that it is disconnected and needs to reconnect every several seconds until the network restores. Which obviously will scare the shit of babies and disturb anyone who put it in bedrooms.So I am about to throw this camera away and turn to other brands. Please do not use it for your baby’s well being.

Didn’t work in the US. The app can’t detect the camera. After some research, we have to purchase the US version if you use locally.

Just died all of the sudden in less than a year. Will simply just not turn on anymore. Who has time to deal with warranty issues? By the time I’m finished, I will have spent more time value on this than a replacement is worth. Quality control please!

Had to return it. It was impossible to connect. I tried two different networks in two different houses. 2.4g. I already own one of these (bought it else where) and it works well so I wanted another one. I’m not sure why this new one won’t connect.
