Best smart watch?
I have been wearing this watch daily, and nightly, for three years. I rarely review anything, but I felt this product deserved praise. From time to time I wonder if I should get a new watch. Every time I compare it with other watches, I come to the conclusion it still is the best smart watch for the money, perhaps the best smart watch, period. I use it for monitoring health, various kinds of workouts and sleep. The charging speed is fast. The battery life is ridiculously long, compared to other watches. The easy interchangeability of watch faces and bands make it stylish for all social occasions, but at the same time it is rugged enough for hard labor and intense workouts. UPDATE: Just over three years into ownership and constant use, a few functions have stopped. I find the touch face unresponsive when I am logging sets at the gym. The workout recovery readings and hypopnea sleep monitor have stopped. I still use the watch, but I am looking for a replacement. 3 years for the price and use is not bad. I may buy a new identical watch or the Balance 2 in order to get the golf features. Zepp has been fine, but I am looking at other brands that sync with other popular fitness apps. I also have noticed this watch has started to make my wrist break out occasionally. FURTHER UPDATE: After some research, I have discovered some of my latest issues may be related to the OS version of the software in my GTR3 Pro. This watch was Zepp's pioneer using OS. It started with Zepp OS 1.0. It has been updated to newer versions, but not to Zepp 5.0, which is the version in Amazon Balance 2. The Balance 2, however, costs about $200 more. Just like other technology, the GTR3 Pro hardware may not be able to use the later versions. So, like other technology, a 3-year cycle for replacement of the hardware is expected in order to keep up with the software updates and latest trends in functions and applications. Personally, I would tend to invest in a watch at a lower price point where a 3-year replacement cycle makes sense. Overall, I still recommend the watch, but a prospective buyer should understand the limitations in the software and be made aware of a few cons that have occurred recently. It still looks good and almost all functions still operate well.

Excellent smartwatch
I've had this watch about a month and a half. Excellent. I had a fitbit inspire 2, for several years. The watch is hard plastic and in changing out the bands, a piece broke off, rendering it un-usable. I thought it was a good time to upgrade to more of a smartwatch and looked at Galaxy watches, etc., but those price tags were too much, plus their battery last was give or take 1 day. Given the fact that Fitbit was bought by Google and they plan to phase those out, I didn't want to I also didn't want a cheap watch that I was going to have to replace every couple of years. I wanted a metal watch (to avoid the issue with a piece breaking off), I wanted it to have the fitness capability, and I preferred it to have the phone connections. I spent a lot of time looking and googling for reviews. This one is great. The battery lasts a long time, not quite 2 weeks, and I have several apps enabled. I have let it get down almost to zero so I could see how long I could get off one charge, and even with low battery (leas than 10%), it still lasts all day while I'm work, etc. It also charges quickly. I have used it answer the phone and reply to texts (I have an android). I enabled notifications as well as several of the fitness apps. I've used the Breathe app at night before bed. Sleeps seems to track well. I didn't realize it had features like a compass and a barometer. It reminds me to get up and walk, etc. I like that it is round vs square. It is a large face, but I have large large wrists and hands and it fits well. I got several compliments at work. I highly recommend this watch.

Good smart watch for the price and battery.
Good product. I had the previous version and liked it. I did notice this scratched more easily. It took over a year or so for the other. I kept that for almost 4.5 years before one of the buttons gave out. I find this one more annoying because the bottom button defaults to the watch audio rather than to the phone Bluetooth audio controls. The previous one did not have a watch audio and I preferred it. This feature is probably useless. I’m posting my review because I had to buy another one. I lost the watch on the street (long story) and cars ran over it. Needless to say, the watch face is busted BUT it still works! The battery lasts me about 7 days which is much better than other smart watches where you have to recharge within 1-2 days. I have A LOT of notifications.

Great mid-tier smart watch
I have worn this watch for about 10 months now. First thing I would recommend is to buy a screen protector for the watch. The glass is bound to scratch or possibly break if you spend time doing minor manual labor. Better to break a protector than the watch. I mostly use it for the GPS tracking feature on runs or walks. It is fairly accurate but I have noticed lately that satellite sync time has taken some extra time lately (past month). Zepp companion app has had great improvements in past 6 months. They now include tracking for weight, food logging (including AI photo assist for macros and calories), and additional metrics for tracking workout load. Overall, it's a great watch for under 150 dollars. Long-lasting battery with a clear screen make it a solid choice. Note that if you start having battery problems (watch drains in less than a day), you will need to restart the watch several times, plus your phone several times to fix the issue. That has happened only once but I freaked out because I was thinking the watch was built intentionally bad. It turned out that if the Bluetooth from your phone and watch don't communicate well, it sends the watch into a deathloop, attempting constant communication between the watch and the app without finishing the task.

I love how the setup is so easy, the watch faces are very quick to download and sync. Sooo many watch face options. I was previously using Fitbit Sense, and somehow the Gtr 3 pro feels like an upgrade for about half the price of a Fitbit Sense. Battery life is pretty good so far, have not charged for 2 days and it is only at 88%. My only gripes are (1) cannot sync with the Healthy 365 app (Singapore's Health Promotion Board's app) and (2) the colour brown is probably referring to the strap colour only as the watch case closer to gunmetal grey colour. But otherwise, this watch is really a good buy. Great bang for the buck!

I love this watch. Light, good looking and delivers all features as described. Great assistant in hikes, runs and swimming. I have taken this watch to saunas, really hot ones and steam rooms. So far, no issues whatsoever. I usually take small cloth and dip it in cold water, wrap around the watch before going to sauna which is usually over 115 C. I do intermittent heat with cold plunges. Love to be able to monitor my vitals and follow the timing of sessions. I highly recommend this watch , it beats with reliability brand watches I used to own. I am really impressed how well it is made and how well it functions.

I wanted so much to write a VERY upbeat review, but just couldn’t. I’ve grouped my LIKES and DISLIKES so you can make up your own mind about this watch. Likes - works with iPhones and Android phones. Likes - screen very big, bright & clear. Likes - alerts easy to hear & understand. Likes - VERY long battery life & quick to recharge. Likes - half the price of an Apple Watch. Dislikes - VERY confusing iPhone app & setup. Dislikes - step count inaccuracy (off by 20%) this was the killer. Dislikes - watch band attachment method. Dislikes - the included watch band too small. A beautiful looking smartwatch, with a lovely display; but a STEP total off by 20% (too low) just killed it for me. I so wanted this to be the right replacement for my Fitbit Versa 3 (the face/bezel on my Versa 3 popped off, apparently a common problem). Instead I’m stuck with a Fitbit Versa 4, so sad. :-(
