Great winter gear!
I've now ordered 8 pairs and love them. The feel is great and comfortable! The materials and construction will make these last virtually forever. I have many UA products and haven't worn any of them out. The warmth and protection tried and true at 0°F most recently, lol! The thing you might have to learn is that these are compression in nature so swallow your instinct and use their size guide! I might recommend ordering a size above if you want less snug. For the money they can't be beat. They are great to sleep in and I like a cool room and turn down the thermostat down generally 3° or more. They will pay for themselves in the long run. They wash well as instructed without shrinking and little lint in the dryer! Just remember these at you regular size will be tight.

Love the cold weather gear!
I absolutely love the cold weather gear. It’s light and breathable but extremely warm as a base layer. I work 12 hour night shifts and it can get down to 25° where I work. I’ll normally layer this with another shirt or jacket and I’m comfortable for the entire shift. It’s thin enough that under my vest I don’t feel bulky. It also drys very quickly if you start to sweat from exertion. As far as size is concerned I purchased the large at 5’6 185lbs and it fit just fine. I’m now 170lbs and it fits even better. I’ve owned a couple of these for a few years because they last! The color doesn’t fade and they don’t change size in the wash. If I ever needed another base layer top I’d definitely order again! They also tend to be cheaper on Amazon even after using discount codes on Under Armour.

Can't go wrong with UA
UA cold gear is the way to go when temperatures drop. It fits so well without being too tight, it absorbs sweat without getting stinky, and it keeps the body warm. These shirts can be thrown in the washer at lower temps and I always hang them up in the bathroom to make sure they stay nice for a long time.

I like it overall, but situational
I like this product overall and it fits well and is also comfortable. However, I do have some comments about the performance over longer runs. When I first received this item and tried it on. I liked the fit (somewhat form fitting, not too tight) and the feel on the skin. I personally saw no issues with the perceived quality. One thing I noticed right away is that the product does not feel warm to wear. UA has many different items for many different situations and maybe this gear is not meant to, but I thought that was an interesting early observation considering it is called "cold gear".I am a weekend warrior runner/jogger and not really fast at all. For long distances, I am in the 10 minute mile range on average. Nothing spectacular, but I get the job done. I have been training for a half marathon recently, which is bumping up my typical mileage quite a bit. I tend to start a pace in a comfortable low 9 minute mile and will end in the high 11's as I get tired. When training for the 1/2 marathon and running in the high 40's and very low 50's F temp range, I have been wearing this garment and a synthetic 1/4 zip long sleeve shirt on top (that is decent at wicking sweat) and a good quality brand name lightly insulated running jacket that I can vent easily as needed. Overall, this set up has kept me pretty warm most of a 10 - 13 mile training session, but sometimes I have needed to put on a merino wool blend layer over the UA cold gear layer as I usually very wet with sweat.Yesterday, I decided to wear the same set up, but kept the running jacket off. I will not be able to layer more clothes during the race. I was hoping that I would not sweat as much and that sweat might evaporate over time. I started fairly cold at the start and after a mile I feel reasonably comfortable. Ultimately, I got really wet from sweating around 8 miles, I begin to feel really cool even while keeping a consistent pace. I was not initially uncomfortable, but I noticed that UA cold gear base layer, was really soaked. At 10 miles, I stopped for a quick water break and was cold. I needed to wear my lightly insulated running jacket to continue towards 13 miles and that kept me warm enough to finish even as I was quite a bit slower than the start. I have trained to 10 miles before using a similar top, but a merino wool blend base layer and I would remain comfortably warm for that time or at least not cold.I am not sure what the deal is. I suspect that this UA base layer is wicking sweat very well, but just doesn't have a good insulating property performance like merino wool has when wet. Generally, it is never good to be wet in the cold and this is no exception and in my race, I am stuck with what I am wearing. The dilemma I have is that for my half marathon, I don't think I can trust this base layer to keep me comfortable for the whole race. For a 5K, this would not even be an issue at all and I would happily wear this UA cold gear in the higher 40's or very low 50's F. For this upcoming half marathon, I think I would want to lean a little more on being warmer and venting when needed than to get too cool and feel that I need to run harder to warm up after I am already tired. So in summary, I do not dislike this UA base layer, but I feel that I overpaid for the performance it is giving me.

These are my Go-To undergarments for chilly weather
Another great Under Armour product. Fits snug. Provides both warmth and breathability. I add or subtract other layers to get the most appropriate level, depending on the task (e.g., jogging versus yard work) and the outside temperature.I have several weights, colors and versions.I highly recommend.
