Q: Can anybody tell me how many inches on the seat in between the arm rests?

23 inches wide and 21 inches back to front.

Q: How well is this chair for someone 6'4" 380lbs and how strong are the wheels?

My boss just ordered two of these chairs for us at work, I am similarly sized at 6'4" and 352lbs and I have not had any issues, even with the added weight of my vest and duty belt.

Q: With my current chair, I am always sliding forward and I need to reposition myself. Is this a problem with this chair?

Yes, having the same issue. I feel like I’m sliding off the seat slowly and push myself back into the chair often. I have a chair pad I’m going to try and see if this helps.
