Just installed on my 2010 Mazda 3i 2.0L, be careful of new alternators, pulley diameter is huuuuge
I had a huge amount of trouble getting this belt on with my "new" reman alternator from AutoZone.I changed the original tensioner, I double-checked lengths of all the major manufacturers (51.4" for this 2,0L Four of certain years), I called Goodyear, etc. The f-ing belt would just not go on.Well, I am going to save your hide and sanity. Autozone alternators, while good probably internally, and certainly the body dimensions and angles match OEM, nevertheless get a big F-ing ZERO, because their 52.4mm pulley is too large to get ANYBODY'S 51.4" serpentine belt on. YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR BELT ON WITH YOUR NEW AUTZONE ALTERNATOR AT THIS WRITING TIME.Pay attention to Mazda3 Forums. I posted about this.DO NOT get an Autozone Duralast, unless you measure the pulley diameter in the grooves with a caliper and it comes up 49mm. OR buy O'Reilly's or a reman Denso or someone else's.Cheers,

2008 mazda 3i serpentine belt
2008 Mazda 3 have several variants so need VIN to get correct serpentine belt length. 6pk1305 (6 rib and 1305 mm), but yours could differ. The Goodyear belt is 6 rib and 1306 mm long, but fit fine at 1 mm longer length. The old belt glassy sheen and squealed continuously, but it had no cracked ribs or feathering of belt edges from what I could see. The vehicle had about 74K miles so disappointing life span for factory belt. The second AC belt was 5 rib belt and used Gates K050264SF stretch belt and worked fine. The dealer belts were much more expensive at roughly twice the cost.
