Loud and light
Loud whistle, very lightweight and extremely tough. I wear it tied to my ski jacket in case of separation from my buddy. Safety gear needs to work every time. This whistle is loud enough to do the job, it's lightweight enough that it doesn't bother me hanging on my jacket, and durable enough that I don't worry it'll be broken should I ever need it.

It does what it suppose to do!
Each family member gets one during our ski trips. These are pretty loud and durable. We strap them inside the zipper on the chest area. Stay away from the tree wells! But if we ever do fall into them, these will come in handy... Hopefully, we will never have to use them.

Great item, just wish there was one change made
All metal whistle, I just wish the plastic piece inside of it was metal and welded in. If that were the case, I think this would probably last forever. Otherwise it is small and plenty loud, light weight too so you don't even realize you're carrying it.

Loud, Lightweight, and Cool (That Matters Most!)
Amazon has boatloads of cheap aluminum whistles one *could* buy and use in their backpack. One can buy 10 for a dollar, in some instances. But why do that, when one can spend 7 dollars on a titanium whistle that weighs *slightly* less and does the same thing! Titanium is cooler than aluminum, so that's all that matters!Please pardon the tongue-in-cheek. This is a wonderful whistle that I suspect will last ad eternium, due to its titanic properties. If you can blow a whistle, you can make the product work. But don't be deceived into thinking a cheap aluminum one won't fulfill the same purpose. Whatever, dude. If you want to spend a few dollars more (as I seemingly did), go for it!

This super lightweight whistle is loud and easy to carry on a key chain. I also bought extras to add to my various day packs, camelbaks and spare house key chain.
