The sound quality of these Marshall iv headphones are very good indeed, good bass and midrange, the clarity is also good. Although these have no ANC it doesn't matter, yes maybe you can hear some outside noise sometimes but overall you would never know the difference. I wear mine for about 3 hours at a time with no discomfort. The great thing I like is the toggle switch, great design and works flawless, much better than headphones with lots of buttons and end up pressing the wrong one. Battery life super. For the price a excellent headset. Great connectivity, straight on with no problems.

Got these today and they're just great !!I never intended to buy a pair of headphones made by Marshall, and was looking for something by Sennheiser, Bose, Audio-Technica, AKG as I wanted something that was a step up in quality from the Sony cans I've been using for a while, but a few factors made me consider them.1. Reduced from £120 to £602. The fact that I know Marshall are world-renowned for decades for making some of the best speakers and amplifiers out there, so if they have decades of experience in making BIG speakers, they were gonna apply that experience and reputation to small speakers on headphones also.3. Loved the brown retro styling, cos everyone else's headphones are black, white, or red. I thought the brown leather looked luxurious, and that was definitely very appealing.They sound great. Very nice detailed sound. They're comfortable to wear, with nice soft pads. They came with charge so I was able to test them right away.Very simple 2 second press of the yellow button for the bluetooth connection , and "Major IV" was on the bluetooth list immediately.Two unexpected surprises that I thought were a very nice touch.1. When you power the headphones on and off, a little 1 second guitar riff is played.2. When making calls, there's a significant reduction in background noise. With my previous cans, my wife used to get unbearable noise levels if I was putting a knife in the cutlery drawer, or making any kind of clinking, jangling sounds, and one of the first things she noticed was that those sounds were minimized, and the call was a lot cleaner sounding, so their must be a quality mic in these also.The only negative is that because the pads press tight on the ears during a call, you can hear the other person perfectly, but you can't hear the higher frequencies of your own voice. You can push a pad off the ear slightly to hear your own voice better, so it's an easy fix.

I have given it a couple of weeks before reviewing, there's some belief that headphones need a 'burn in' period. So, to be fair, I have given them a little time to do that. To be fair, it does seem to work, so probably don't judge headphones as soon as you get them out of the box.Indeed they have improved already. They were a little harsh at first, and seemed slight off balance between left and right ears. A couple of weeks later, and they sound superb, and perfectly balanced. There is some anecdotal evidence that suggests some of this could also be down to the individual and getting their brain to adjust to the sound of the new phones - perhaps, maybe a bit of both involved.I have an eclectic collection of headphones here - wired ones are Grado SR60, AKG K92, Koss PortaPro, and a Bluetooth Tribit XFree. They have different purposes, but I wanted some decent sounding cans with Bluetooth, so I don't need to swap around, and fuss about trying to convert wireless to wired.The Marshalls ended up being my choice, as I prefer the comfort, and spatial sound of on-ear pads. I didn't particularly need ANC or any weird fancy features, just reliable connection, and good sound.These are Bluetooth 5.0, and only come with a basic codec installed. However, I've connected them to my iPad Pro, iPhone 12, and Apple TV, and all work perfectly fine. Switching is a little fiddly, as I have to do it manually to disconnect one device, then connect another, but I don't do it often, so that's not a deal breaker.If you really want to, there's a 3.5mm jack lead included, so you can (apparently) connect to another set of headphones to share the audio, or connect to a headphone amp for old fashioned wired connection. I connected it to my little valve amp (one of the readily available models out there), and it sounds fine, if a little under powered compared to the Bluetooth feed.They appear to be very well made, and they are comfortable. I did have to find the sweet spot around my glasses frames though. The pads are also easily removable, so I guess replaceable if they wear out, or for cleaning perhaps.Overall sound is excellent, now they're reduced because of the version 5 coming out, they are a complete bargain. Whether you want to spend the extra there, that's up to you (reviews I find indicate the benefits may be minimal). However, they compare well to the Grados, and way better than the AKG or Tribit. The Koss PoratPros are bit of a legendary thing, but not as 'full' a sound as the Marshall.Of course something like headphones are difficult to judge until you've tried them, and it's not easy to do that before buying any. If you want sub£100 on-ear headphones, and don't need noise cancelling and such like, then these are a decent choice.

I purchased them for my Daughter and she enjoys wearing headset and listen music through them and every time she got them on her ears and she is very pleased with them I reckon these headset Marshall for anyone I also gotta set for myself I used for work commuting back-and-forth on the trains, thank Marshall

Honestly, I was attracted to its retro model design that pushed me to buy this product.After using this headphone for more than four weeks now. I felt like registering my experience.1. The design is flawless - go for it!2. I use it over two hours everyday at GYM I have never felt discomfort even after extended hours because of its premium leather make3. Sustained battery life. In this four weeks of usage, I have charged it just once.4. Performance - descent sound quality compared to JVC & JBL. Bass is too good for this price.

Have had many headphones over the last few years, last pair Senheister, but these are the best by far,superb and headphones jack and expandable lead as well,brilliant headphones, easy to connect and volume all on one button.

Excellent build, superb battery life, hardly needed to recharge, sound quality was brilliant and comfortable to wear ( I have a small head) exactly as described, excellent bit of kit, no ANC tho

Bought them on the 12th of May, was a little sceptical but thought I will invest in better quality headphones. They are very comfortable, I haven’t charged them once yet and it’s been two months which I am so impressed with. They look good with every outfit, sound quality thought would be way better but it’s still great so won’t complain. The button to turn on/off is a bit fiddly but it’s fine. Would be great if it came with a case tho too. Overall I use them daily and definitely worth the splurge, happy :)

J’ai acheté ce casque le 7 novembre, et après plus d'un mois d'utilisation quasi quotidienne, je suis bluffé par sa performance.Je l'utilise presque tous les jours, parfois de manière intensive, et je n'ai jamais eu besoin de le recharger ! Mon iPhone indique qu'il lui reste encore moins de la moitié de la batterie, ce qui est juste incroyable pour un casque Bluetooth. Comparé à mes anciens AirPods, que je devais recharger tous les 3 jours, c'est un véritable changement.Comme on peut s'y attendre de Marshall, le son est vraiment excellent. Il est riche, équilibré et puissant, idéal pour tous types de musique.Très confortable à porter, même pendant de longues périodes, et le design est fidèle à l'esthétique Marshall, à la fois rétro et moderne.En résumé, je recommande vivement ce casque pour ceux qui cherchent à allier performance, autonomie et qualité sonore. Un excellent achat !

Helt otroligt!Jag är 53 och mina orön är trössiga då är jag absolut nojd. Stark djup ljud, jag är förälskad.

Excellent headphones! The sound quality is amazing, and they feel very premium and comfortable to the touch.Unfortunately, my first pair stopped turning on. These are genuinely the best over ear headphones I've ever bought. I haven't wrote a review yet because I said to myself when I first got them, I'd write a review when they start to mess up or if I ever sent them back. Now's the time.I've had these for a little over 2 years now. They're still going strong.IN SHORT - Best overall headphones for heavy music enjoyers or everything else, the best battery life I've ever seen, best bass and clear tones, especially for how light weight and small they are. Very aesthetic and look good with any outfit. I love them so much and almost never take them off, my dad calls them my ears because of how much I wear them. Best investment, BUY THEM!!I listen to all types of music; rock, heavy metal, rap, hip-hop, r&b, pop, indie etc. etc.. these are overall amazing for every genre. Personally, they are the best for r&b and rock/metal.They have 10/10 bass for how small and light weight they are. Clear sound and not muffled, clear mid tones and the left to right sound is great. These things really pack some power. They can get really, really loud. I never turn the volume all the way up because when they are, they're nearly as loud as a phone speaker.Battery life is a 1298439/10. These last FOREVER. I wear them almost 8+ hours a day all through my school day. I have only ever had them die on me 5 times in the 2 years I've had them. I honestly think they can last over 80+ hours if you have the volume turned down. I charge them about once a week but, I could go almost 2 full weeks without needing a charge while on mid to high volume.Charging is easy. The 15 minute charge for 15 hours is a real thing and great for when I forget to charge them and need to run out the door in a time crunch. I can't harp on how amazing the battery life is though. They also have a wireless charge feature I've only used twice. I don't really know if it charges any faster or slower using one but it does work to some extent.SUPER STURDY. I drop these A LOT. I wear them while roller blading, skating and going to the gym and they've fallen off when I fall and dropped off my head. They've never broke in any physical way and have no real connection issues from it. I think there okay for gym or active use because of how much padding is around your ears so no moisture gets into the speaker or any of the sensitive parts.Controls are easy with the joystick. I actually wear mine backwards (I explain why further down) and found the controls to be easy to understand. The 'joystick' like control is really cool and I find better than touch control. You don't have to press too hard to change to the next or previous or control volume. I find on touch controlled headphones they get pressed accidently constantly, while this one has never changed anything out of its own accord.Also with controls is the light indicator. When charging: Red is nearly dead, Yellow is mid battery and Green is near fully charged or fully charged. When they are first turned on a sound plays to let you know and there is a flashing white light until paired. To put them in paring mode: hold down the power on position on the joystick until another sound plays and a flashing blue light comes on, then you can pair with Bluetooth. From there a solid white light stays on to show they are paired and on.A negative I have about these is the comfort. I have a mid sized head and ears and I found these uncomfortable for even 30 minutes wearing them the right way. (right side on right ear, left ear on left ear) So, I tried them on backwards and found that to be a better solution. I don't know how to explain it the best but they seem to be built at an angle that I assume was supposed to be formed to a normal head shape. I find it puts pressure on the back of my ears. I find it more comfortable to wear them backwards. Only thing with that is the control joystick is backwards (left is next and right is the previous, up is volume down and down is volume up) but these were easy for me to get used to.Other than that I wear these 8+ hours almost everyday. Naturally with over ear headphones some ear fatigue will occur but with how committed I am to these it's never been a real bother.The only other downside I've ever had was that they've stalled on me. It's happened about 3 to 5 times in the 2 years I've had them, but I'll be playing a song, they'll freeze, make a really loud sound and cut off completely. I don't understand why this happens because I've just been using them like normal but after they cut off, I turn them back on and they pair and work like normal. It could be from dropping them or something similar but this didn't start until around a year and a half of constant use.To summarize again. Really really good value for money. I had been looking for over ear headphones for the longest and found a review on these and bought them on sale for $100 but I would pay full price for these any day. My dad is from the 70s and loves his extra loud, bassy music. He bought these and, while he opted for the Skullcandy Crushers, he said these had amazing bass for how small they are, they just weren't suited for his everyday work. Knowing him, If he complemented them on bass, you know these are actually amazing for rather normal people.
