I have ivy growing up the side of my building—Virginia Creeper, to be precise. I'm on the top, eighth floor, so the ivy stops with me. As you can see from the photos, the balcony is inexplicably made of solid, ugly grey concrete, which seems ludicrous considering that four months of the year there is snow on it.So in an effort to encourage the ivy to grow towards the inside of the balcony wall, I took the hesitant step of ordering this trellis. I needed something that could easily be cut, not something made of faux-wood plastic, as I was fearing this would be.Instead I was greatly heartened to see that not only was it the right height for my project, I could cut it with some wire-clipping pliers! It cut perfectly and in less than ten minutes I had created the perfect vehicle for my fast-growing friend . . . in the autumn this ivy turns flame red and is absolutely gorgeous to look at, while attracting small birds and insects that I find delightful—as do my kitties.On the other end of the balcony another band of ivy is fast-growing towards the side of the balcony and when that happens, I will buy the second half of my gorgeous new forest!Highly recommended. An outstanding product.

I have these lining our balcony for cat safety as well as a little bit of privacy. Able to still enjoy the views and the breeze. Water accumulates on our balcony a bit along the edges so the bark is starting to fray but these have lasted over a year and in our Canadian winters as well.

We bought this for our garden experiment, and so far it's doing great! The kids set up a dozen 5 gallon grow bags in two rows. The trellis slipped right out of its plastic storage bag and expanded very easily. As we used it fully expanded it's about 4' high, but I can see how I could have installed it as higher and not as wide by just not expanding it all the way. The weight of the bags has been sufficient to keep the trellis standing through two nasty storms so far, but I do plan on driving in 2-4 tall poles along the length and securing everything better as the plants grow. Our garden is admittedly a bit homely, but the trellis dresses it up for now with the natural wood as it serves its supportive purpose. Now if only I could figure out what the kids planted in half those bags - time will tell!

Was super excited to put up this trellis for my golden pothole to vine around. However, the product arrived damaged - some parts of the trellis are broken and there seems to be some kind of white fungus growing on it. Very disappointed.

Product did come broken in a couple places. However it does not effect the functionality of the product. I secured it upright with zip ties to two leftover metal trellis poles I already had. Overall it looks nice and I’m happy with it.
