Colgate Keep Manual Toothbrush Deep Clean Starter Kit - Silver

I have tried the Colgate Keep Manual Toothbrush Deep Clean brush in silver. This was the first I'd heard of metal toothbrushes and I was intrigued to see what it would be like. It certainly looks good, with a nice twist design to the handle and a nice finish that makes it non-slippy and easy to hold. I found it easy to screw the head on, although I haven't yet had to replace the first head (there were 2 in the pack).I got a soft bristle one, but think I would go for a firmer option next time, as there's something about the weight of the toothbrush that makes a soft (and quite small) bristle with it seem strange. I feel I have to grip it more and brush harder, which makes it a little awkward and I worry about knocking my teeth with the metal part, whereas a firmer and longer bristle would probably solve that problem for me. So I hope there will be more options available to suit each user.I store my toothbrushes in a glass pot, so I am more conscious of having to be gentle placing this in the pot vs a plastic handle, and this handle would probably not work with those toothbrush holders that you slide the brush down into. But, other than that, I do like the new, metal design and it's a nice bonus that it's more eco-friendly than a standard plastic brush.All in all, it takes a bit of getting used to, and I feel a different bristle head would work better for me, especially with the heavier handle, but this is a stylish, more eco-friendly, option that I would certainly consider buying more replacement heads for if the right ones are available.
